Why bet on the North Dakota Fighting Hawks?
This is a big game for an FCS Division I team, especially one that only had 3 wins in their 2017 season. The Fighting Hawks are off to a much better start this season, as they looked pretty good in their 35-7 opening week win over the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils. Opening up with a win is certainly nice, but North Dakota will be very well aware that this game is a much different proposition. They will be facing a Washington team that is sure to still be smarting after getting beaten by Auburn in Week 1, which could well mean that they are on to a bit of a hiding this weekend. Combine that with the fact that the Fighting Hawks have only won once in their last 10 road games and you begin to see the trouble they could be in here. Why bet on the Washington Huskies?
The Washington Huskies are certainly not going to be happy with their opening week 21-16 loss to the Auburn Tigers, although they are probably going to be somewhat pleased with how their defense held up against a very strong SEC opponent. The same cannot be said for the offense, which is supposed to be the strongest part of this Washington team. They put up 398 total yards of offense in Week 1, although they were going against one of the best defenses in the nation. This week is where we should really get to see this offense flex its muscles. This game will serve as a good opportunity for the offense to get some of its swaggers back, and while no-one is going to get too carried away with a blowout win over an inferior opponent, it will still serve as a good confidence builder.North Dakota vs Washington NCAAF Week 2 Betting Trends
