Oklahoma (7-2, 6-2) has won six consecutive games since losing to….you guessed it….Iowa State, 37-30 on the road on Oct. 3. The Sooners comes into this contest fresh off a convincing 27-14 win over Baylor on Saturday despite never coming close to covering the chalk as a 23-point home favorite.
Quarterback Spencer Rattler passed for 193 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the win. Since the loss to Iowa State, the sophomore signal-caller has throw 14 TD passes and three interceptions.
“He’s still being the aggressive player that we want him to be but certainly has done a good job here the last several games of not making very many mistakes or putting our team or our offense in bad situations,” Sooners coach Lincoln Riley said.
Oklahoma also has a pair of players in action that were forced to miss the previous meetings against the Cyclones with sophomore running back Rhamondre Stevenson and defensive end Ronnie Perkins both back after serving six-game suspensions.
