The Tigers extended a non-conference winning streak to 47 games in Tiger Stadium. Etling completed 11-of- 18 passes for a season-high 276 yards with three touchdowns and his first interception in 104 pass attempts. LSU brings one of the top rated defenses in the SEC into the Ole Miss game as the Tigers are No. 2 in the league in scoring defense (14.0 points per game) and rush defense (103.7 yards per game), No. 3 in total defense (312.0 yards per game), and No. 5 in pass defense (208.3 yards per game). LSU is also limiting opponents to just 30.9 percent (30-of- 97) on third-down conversions. LSU and Ole Miss have split its last four games with the home team winning each time. A year ago, Ole Miss beat LSU, 38-17, in Oxford. In the previous meeting in Tiger Stadium in 2014, LSU beat then-No. 3 Ole Miss, 10-7.
