The Golden Bears are not experiencing a golden moment right now after what seems like a dejavu to them. One year ago, they struggled and lost three in a row after starting the season 5-1. This year, it is more-or-less the same story, as they have now lost three in a row to UCLA, Utah and USC after beginning 5-0 and even getting ranked as high as No. 20 in the AP rankings. A quick turnaround is thus required if they are to have a chance of reaching the Bowl games for the first time since 2011. Fortunately for them, their offense is ably led by quarterback Jared Goff, who is amongst the best passers in the nation with 2537 yards and 22 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. Kenny Lawler is Goff’s favorite target with 527 yards and 9 touchdowns, while Khalfani Muhammad paces the rushing game with 459 yards and 1 touchdown.  Evidently, Goff and his weapons are talented, but they’ll need a lot of discipline and a spirited performance against the Ducks’ defense that has racked up 26 sacks, 6 fumble recoveries and 9 interceptions this season. On their part, the Bears have collected 22 sacks, 10 fumble recoveries, and 12 interceptions, which should offer a better front against the sometimes out-of-sorts Ducks offense.
