USC Trojans will FINALLY reach the College Football Playoff

It is the final season for the Trojans as members of the PAC12. Did we ever think the Trojans would be part of the Big Ten Conference? Well, here we are.

Lincoln Riley knows this is a great opportunity for his squad. The non-conference slate is not overly difficult, although they do have to go to Notre Dame in October.

The Trojans finish the season against Washington, Oregon, and UCLA, so that will not be an easy task. But USC finishes 11-1, at worst, and wins in the Pac-12 title game to reach the College Football playoff. Potential loss at Notre Dame or at Oregon.

Caleb Williams will WIN back to back Heisman Trophies

The quarterback is a stud. He is terrific under pressure, can throw the ball all over the field, and will run it for what he needs to.

Williams threw the ball 500 times a season ago and was 463 yards shy of 5,000 on the season. Forty-two touchdowns is outstanding.

Knowing what Lincoln Riley likes to do, though, do not be surprised if those numbers are all beat this season. We project 4,800 yards and 50 touchdowns in 2023. That’s enough to win him the 2023 Heisman!

Colorado will NOT Reach a Bowl Game

There is no buy in to Coach Prime and his Buffaloes here. This was a team that won just three games a season ago and did not have much talent.

Now, just because a new flashy head coach comes in and brings some new players in, things are going to drastically change. We may be eating crow when the Buffaloes are in a bowl game, but it’s not likely. The Buffaloes start at TCU and then host Nebraska.

Winning one of those two would be a good start to the season. Colorado gets Oregon and USC back to back and has to finish at Washington State and Utah. We do not see 6-6 in the cards for 2023.

Arizona State Gets Back to a Bowl Game

Gone is Herm Edwards, but the talent the Sun Devils had is still around. This is not a bad team. This did not become a bad program overnight. The Sun Devils struggled a bit but ran into some tough luck. Look for Arizona State to right the ship and get back on track here.

The Sun Devils start the season with four straight home games and finish with back-to-back home games. This Sun Devils team can figure it out defensively and get to six wins in 2023.

Arizona Beats Washington on September 30th, 2023

Many are high on the Washington Huskies. And there is reason to be. But, their PAC12 title hopes to go down the drain early with a road loss at Arizona on September 30th.

The Wildcats are a great offensive team and know they have to improve on their defense to have any chance. They get just enough stops in this one and win a shootout ruining the Huskies’ chances early on.
