College Football Pac-12 Betting Favorites to Win the 2022 Conference Championship

The Pac 12 Conference has been in the news a lot lately. First off, it was announced that USC and UCLA would be leaving the conference to join the Big 10 Conference, thus ending the Pac 12 as we know it. Another major announcement made by the conference was changing how teams can get to the Pac 12 Championship game. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the two division winners that get to the title game, but it’s the two teams with the best conference winning percentage.

As we get closer to the start of the college football season, let’s take a look at some of the NCAA Football Conference Championship Betting favorites to win the Pac 12 this season.

Who Should We Bet On To Win the Pac 12 This season? | NCAA Football Betting Predictions

The Favorite – USC Trojans +200

When Lincoln Riley left Oklahoma to come to the west coast, the Trojans quickly became a trendy pick to make the College Football Playoffs. Not only did Riley bring his high-powered offense to Los Angeles, but he also brought some of his former Sooner players. He also brought in some big-name recruits, along with some of the top players that were in the transfer portal.

While Southern Cal’s offense should be quite good, there are still a lot of question marks surrounding the defense. Riley’s teams have always seemed to overcome poor defenses, and that will more than likely be the case this season.

USC’s schedule is quite favorable this season, as they won’t have to cross over with Oregon or Washington. Picking USC to win the conference will be the popular selection, but you could find a little more bang for your buck.

A Trendy Selection – UCLA Bruins +750

When Chip Kelly took the UCLA job, many felt that it would be much like his tenure at Oregon. However, Kelly’s Bruins haven’t taken off like his Ducks did. This year could finally be the year that the Bruins win the Pac 12. With Dorian Thompson-Robinson returning for a fifth year, and many of UCLA’s skill players returning, this offense could be even better than USC’s.

Much like USC, the Bruins defense could be their downfall, but we’re willing to take our chances. Bill McGovern was brought in to fix the shoddy defense, and we’ll see if he’s the right man for the job.

This could be a make-or-break season for Kelly. If the Bruins don’t live up to the high expectations, we could see a coaching change prior to the Bruins taking off for the Big 10. We think that USC and UCLA could square off twice this season. Once in the regular season, and a second time in the Pac 12 title game.

Watch Out For – Washington Huskies +1800

Kalen DeBoer is taking over for Jimmy Lake, and the offense should be better. There isn’t much expected out of the Huskies, and this team could sneak up on some people. The defense may not be very strong, but we haven’t really found many good Pac 12 defenses. We’ll see if the hiring of DeBoer can bring the Washington program back to prominence.
