Now that we’ve come to Week 10 of the College Football season, and we’re entering the month of November, things are about to get very serious. We’re going to hear more playoff talk, and a loss at this point in the season for some of the top teams could be fatal. Here are some predictions for the upcoming week so you can make your bets against the NCAAF Odds.

College Football Playoff Standings
Since we’ve now entered the month of November, we’ll now get word from the College Football Playoff Committee on how they’re ranking the teams. Tuesday night, the committee will release its first rankings of the year. We’re going to take a crack at making our own predictions on how they will fall.
The top team in the rankings will be a no-brainer, as the Georgia Bulldogs have dominated the college football scene this season. Until someone proves that they can score on their dominant defense, Georgia will remain on top. The second spot will more than likely go to the Oklahoma Sooners. Since Caleb Williams has taken over as the starting quarterback, the Sooners have taken off. They have three tough games ahead of them, so we’ll see if they can stay near the top of the standings.
In the third spot, we’re predicting that Nick Saban’s Alabama Crimson Tide will be the one. Even though they have a loss, they’ve been dominant in almost all of their victories. The fourth spot will be very interesting, but we think that the undefeated Michigan State Spartans will be there. After beating Michigan on Saturday, the Spartans may have earned that spot. They still have to get through Ohio State and Penn State, so they better not get comfortable.
Three teams that are on the outside looking in will be Cincinnati, Oregon, and Ohio State. Cincinnati is still undefeated, but their best win is over Notre Dame. They’ve struggled the past two weeks, and we’re sure that the committee has noticed that. Oregon hasn’t dominated the Pac 12, and that loss to Stanford will come back to haunt them. As for Ohio State, they look like they have the best shot of getting into the top four. They’ve been on a roll since losing to Oregon, and they still have Michigan State and Michigan to get through. If they win out and win the Big 10 title, they could be in the playoffs.
Georgia Defense
In looking at their remaining schedule, we don’t see much of a challenge for the Georgia Bulldogs. This week they host Missouri, next week they’re at Tennessee, then they host Charleston Southern, and in the final week of the regular season, they play at Georgia Tech. We are going to predict that the Bulldog defense won’t give up more than five touchdowns the rest of the regular season. Some really good teams haven’t been able to put up points on this group, so we can’t imagine the teams that they have left to play will be able to score on this dominant unit. The only thing that could hurt them is if they put the subs in and they give up some touchdowns.
