Purdue vs Michigan Odds | NCAAF Preview and Betting Analysis in Week 10

Out of the Big Ten Conference, the Purdue Boilermakers are at the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday night. The Purdue Boilermakers have had a miserable season, with just 2 wins in 8 games.

This is the team that fell to Michigan in the Big Ten title game a season ago. Purdue is coming into the game with a three-game losing streak. In their last game, they fell at Nebraska 31-14. For Michigan, they come into the game ranked 2nd in the country.

The Wolverines are a perfect 8-0 on the season. Michigan did not play last weekend, but the previous weekend they blanked Michigan State 49-0. The Michigan Wolverines are -32.5 at home in this game, with a total listed at 48.5 points.

Wolverines Rolling in 2023

The Michigan Wolverines are rolling, and that may be an understatement. The Wolverines have allowed just a total of 47 points in eight games this season. That leads to the best team defense in the country, at 5.9 points per game. Offensively, they have been really good as well, with 40.6 points per game.

J.J. McCarthy is the signal caller for the Wolverines. The quarterback is just shy of 1,800 passing yards on the season. He has thrown 18 touchdowns, with 10 of them to Roman Wilson. Blake Corum is one of the best running backs in the country, with 605 yards per game. Michigan is averaging more than 174 yards per game on the ground.

The Wolverines are at Penn State and Maryland in their next two games, before coming back home to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in what many expect to be the best College Football game of the season.

Purdue Looking to Shock the World

Obviously, the Boilermakers winning this game would turn the College Football world upside down. Purdue needs to win their final four games to reach a bowl game in 2023. The Boilermakers have just one Big Ten all season, and that was early in the season over the Fighting Illini of Illinois.

Since that win, the Boilermakers have been less than competitive getting beat by an average of 19 points per game. The other win for Purdue this season was on the road at Virginia Tech. The Purdue offense has faltered more than not this season, with just 21.9 points per game. The Boilermakers have not found any consistency on the ground or via the air. Hudson Card has eight touchdown passes this season, but 9 interceptions.

Purdue will host Minnesota next week, before going to Northwestern on November 18th and hosting the Indiana Hoosiers on November 25th.

Wolverines Make it Nine Straight

Stop the fight. Stop the count. The Michigan Wolverines are going to win this game and win this game big. There is no looking ahead for the Wolverines in this game. Despite the big game against Penn State next week, Coach Harbaugh has his Wolverines ready to battle in this one and make sure they move to 9-0.

The defense has not allowed more than 10 points in a single game all season, and that continues. The Wolverines win the game 49-7 over Purdue on Saturday. Bet Michigan -32.5 at home.
