NCAAF Season Week 11 ATS Picks Expert Analysis

Written by on November 9, 2020

The top 4 in college football looks a little different this week, thanks in large part to Notre Dame’s dramatic OT win over Clemson, a victory that we predicted in our Week 10 SU picks. This was always going to be a tough year for the playoff committee to unpack, but it is likely to get tougher still. How long can BYU continue to be ignored as they continue to run up the score on the opposition, all while the traditional bigger teams like Georgia and Michigan continue to struggle? Time is ticking down on this season, but there is still plenty of time for more upsets and stunning results to once again change how things look at the top. We are now looking ahead to Week 11 and have some ATS picks that we hope will help you pocket some cash against our NCAAF odds.

NCAAF ATS Picks for Week 11 | College Football Betting

Oregon Ducks (- 7 ½) at Washington State Cougars

Week 10 saw the PAC 12 finally return to business, with both the Oregon Ducks and the Washington State Cougars getting their season off to a winning start. It is these two who will hook up this coming Saturday in a game that sees the Ducks go on the road as a 7 ½ point favorite. The Ducks covered at home last weekend, but there are a couple of reasons to like them heading on the road this Saturday. Before we get to those trends, let’s take a look at the Cougars. Yes, they were able to cover the spread in their opening game of the season, but they are still just 4-9 ATS in their last 13 overall. The Ducks, meanwhile, are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 versus teams with a winning record, as well as being 5-0 ATS in the last 5 following a game where they racked up more than 450 total yards.

TCU Horned Frogs at West Virginia Mountaineers (-3)

This is a game where a couple of positive trends collide, and something has to give. I was initially intending to put this one in my straight up picks for the week, since the bookies have this as a close one, but I flipped and decided to make it an ATS selection instead. The one thing that initially made me a little nervous with this game is that while TCU is just 3-3 SU on the season, they have covered in both of their games on the road. Still, the Mountaineers have been better, posting a perfect 4-0 ATS record in their own building. In a season where home field advantage is not what it usually is, that is a mark that cannot be ignored. They are also 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games played in Week 11.

Pittsburgh Panthers (-6 ½) at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

This is one of those games that is easy to ignore if you look at the trends of both teams this season, but dig a little deeper and you find some very good reasons to vote for the Panthers. Pittsburgh has been a little up and down this season, but they should be well rested after a bye week, which is where we get our first reason for leaning in their direction with this pick. The Panthers are a perfect 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games following a bye, while also being 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 following a game where they allowed 20 points or less. In their last 19 games played on grass, the Yellow Jackets are just 6-13 ATS.
