#1 Georgia versus #3 Alabama Final Betting Prediction

On paper it looks like Georgia easily wins this matchup. But visually, Alabama is the more impressive team.

Even though Bama seemed to struggle against bad teams, and Nick Saban’s team did lose to Texas A&M, the Crimson Tide sends the best offense to the field the Bulldogs have faced this season.

Georgia shut out a bad Clemson team in Week 1. Since then, they’ve coasted against overmatched squads. The best team Georgia faced, Arkansas, happened on Oct. 2. Although the Bulldogs dominated the Razorbacks, it was obvious that Arkansas wasn’t mentally prepared to take on UGA in Athens.

Tennessee, Florida, Auburn, nobody Georgia has faced can move the ball like Alabama. Not only does that give Saban’s crew an edge, but it will also lead to UGA playing catch up, which brings us to the other reason to like the Bama moneyline.

UGA quarterback Stetson Bennett completes just 60% of his passes. Georgia averages just 240.3 passing yards per contest.

The Crimson Tide allow less than 80 yards per game. So once Kirby Smart must turn to Bennett, this game could be over. Bama wins.
