12 Oklahoma Sooners vs 3 Texas Longhorns

SU Odds: Oklahoma +208 / Texas -265
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field, Columbia, MO

Texas should beat Oklahoma, but the odds make the Sooners more than playable. While Texas has shown some weakness against bad teams, and beat a Bama squad that wasn’t itself, Oklahoma has rolled to 5 wins SU and ATS.

The Sooners’ D can contain the Ewers to Worthy connection. Also, Oklahoma’s offense is one of the most creative in college football. Back the Sooners in this year’s Red River Rivalry.

23 LSU Tigers at 21 Missouri Tigers

SU Odds: LSU -226 / Missouri +180
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field, Columbia, MO

Here’s another game where the odds make it impossible not to go with the underdog. Missouri might be the overall better team.

Sure, LSU’s offense is great, but the Baton Rouge Tigers’ defense is a disaster. LSU has given up 31 to Arkansas and 55 to Ole Miss in LSU’s last couple of games and this happens in Columbia.

College Football Week 6 SU Pick: Missouri +180| Bet South Carolina at Tennessee

Western Michigan Broncos at Mississippi State Bulldogs

SU Odds: Western Michigan +760 / Mississippi State -1408
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Davis Wade Stadium, Starkville, MS

Western Michigan should have no chance agianst Mississippi State. But here’s the thing, teams with inexperienced head coaches and confidence shocked players tend to lose to teams they’re supposed to beat.

The Broncos will go for broke in this and Miss State is on a 3-game losing streak. 2 of the 3 losses came via blowout. Western Michigan has a shot.

College Football Week 6 SU Pick: Western Michigan +760 | Bet South Carolina at Tennessee

13 Washington State Cougars at UCLA Bruins

SU Odds: Washington State +144 / UCLA -173
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA

UCLA is a quality team but as good as Bruins starting quarterback Dante Moore will be, Washington State quarterback Cameron Ward is already there.

Ward is one of the top signal-callers in the nation. The Cougs will punish a UCLA defense that has no chance of keeping Washington State from scoring at least 42. Moore doesn’t have the experience or weapons to keep up.

College Football Week 6 SU Pick: Washington State +144 | Bet South Carolina at Tennessee

20 Kentucky Wildcats at 1 Georgia Bulldogs

SU Odds: Kentucky +440 / Georgia -649
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Sanford Stadium, Athens, GA

Calling the upset over Georgia Louisville makes sense. The Bulldogs shouldn’t be ranked number one in the nation.

Carson Beck is a decent player and the defense is good, but nothing UGA has done this season says they are the top team in the country. Kentucky is undefeated and comes off a 33-14 victory over then ranked Florida. Wildcats upset the Dawgs in Athens.

College Football Week 6 SU Pick: Kentucky +440 | Bet South Carolina at Tennessee

10 Notre Dame Fighting Irish at 25 Louisville Cardinals

SU Odds: Notre Dame -232 / Louisville +184
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Cardinal Stadium, Louisville, KY

It’s going to be difficult for Notre Dame to keep pace with Louisville’s offense. One of the issues the Irish face is that this game happens after back-to-back emotional matchups versus Ohio State and Duke.

Louisville is one of the best teams in the country. Nobody is talking about the Cards because nobody believed they were going to be this good. The home team goes to 6-0 while Notre Dame suffers their second loss of the season.

College Football Week 6 SU Pick: Louisville | Bet South Carolina at Tennessee

24 Fresno State Bulldogs at Wyoming Cowboys

SU Odds: Fresno State -255 / Wyoming +196
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium, Laramie, WY

Wyoming is ultra-tough to beat at home. Not only that, but the Cowboys will lull Fresno State to sleep with a 3 yards and a cloud of dust rushing attack.

By the time the Bulldogs wake from the nap, Wyoming will have a 3 to 6 points lead late in the fourth quarter that Fresno State won’t overcome.

College Football Week 6 SU Pick: Wyoming +196 | Bet South Carolina at Tennessee
MyBookie Betting Lines for the Game

Arizona Wildcats at 9 USC Trojans

SU Odds: Arizona +1025 / USC -2500
Saturday, October 7th, 2023 at 9:00 pm | ESPN
Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles, CA

Sometimes, you have to take a massive swing. Backing the Arizona Wildcats to beat the USC Trojans at the Coliseum is a massive swing.

Although the Cats lost to Washington 31-24 in their last, Arizona unleashed an offense that will give the porous USC defense fits. Noah Fifita threw an early pick. But after that, Fifita torched the Huskies when completing over 72% of his passes for 279 yards and 3 TDs.

Caleb Williams will move the ball and score points, but so will Fifita and the Wildcats. Arizona has a much better shot of upsetting the Trojans than the odds indicate. Back the biggest overlay of the year in what will be, at least up until College Football Week 6, the most massive upset victory of the season.

2022 NCAAF Betting Predictions: Teams to Straight-Up Win their Week 6 Match

Week 5 of the college football season has come and gone, and it’s time to move on to Week 6. With everyone playing conference games now, each game is very important. Last week we saw some of the top programs in the country suffer some huge losses. We’ll have to see if those teams can rebound, or if they’ll continue to fall. In looking over this week’s slate of games, we’ve found a couple of games that have caught our betting interest. We’re going to give you our College Football Betting predictions on those two games, and we’ll give you our “sure winners” of Week 6. Good Luck!

Sure Winners For Week 6 of the 2022 Season | College Football Betting Picks

South Florida Bulls @ Cincinnati Bearcats (-27)

So, when looking at this game, all signs point towards the Cincinnati Bearcats. Cincinnati is 4-1, while South Florida is 1-4. South Florida has lost three straight games, while Cincinnati has won four straight. South Florida hasn’t won a road game since 2019, while the Bearcats haven’t lost a home game since 2017. The obvious choice here is to take the Cincinnati Bearcats, right?

Well, we’re going to go out on a limb, and make South Florida one of our sure winners of the week. While their defense is fairly suspect, they do run the ball well. They average just over 175 yards on the ground per game. Cincinnati is obviously the better team, and they’re going to win this game, but not by 27 points. South Florida hasn’t been blown out of games, and they’ve been a competitive team. We think the Bearcats win this one by 24, and South Florida covers the spread.

Oregon Ducks @ Arizona Wildcats (+10.5)

The oddsmakers seem to think that the Oregon Ducks are in for a tough test when they head to Tempe next weekend. Judd Fisch has done a great job of rebuilding the Arizona program, and in his second season, the Wildcats come into this one with a 3-2 record. Arizona is coming off of a 43-20 win over Colorado on Saturday. Now, remember, they beat Colorado. The Buffaloes are one of the worst Power 5 teams in the country, and they just fired their head coach on Sunday, so don’t look too far into this one.

As for the Oregon Ducks, after getting blasted by the Georgia Bulldogs by a score of 49-3 in Week 1 of the season, they have gone on to win four straight. Their four wins have been impressive, as they’ve beaten some quality opponents. With Bo Nix leading the way, the Ducks’ offense has been very good.

Both teams’ defenses have had problems stopping teams, but we heavily favor Oregon’s offense over Arizona’s. There will be a lot of points scored, so the over would probably be a very good play. But in terms of picking with the spread, we are going to make the Oregon Ducks another sure winner for the week. The Ducks are just too strong for Arizona. The Wildcats are headed in the right direction, but they’re not quite there yet. Oregon wins by 14.

2021 NCAAF Season Week 6 SU Betting Picks to Wager On

Week 5 of the college football season was yet another one filled with surprises, including Stanford taking out Oregon and dropping them out of a playoff spot. That outcome cost us a perfect weekend with our selections, as we went perfect in our SU and O/U picks, while going 2-1 in our ATS selections. We have had a decent time of it in our SU picks this season, going 11-4 through the first 5 weeks. Since we try to play games that the bookies deem to be close, that represents a decent little profit for the season. Still, you are only as good as your previous week, so let’s see if we can have another 3-0 week this coming weekend. Here are our SU picks for Week 6 of the college football season for your NCAAF odds.

College Football SU Picks for Week 6

Baylor Bears over West Virginia Mountaineers

It is always interesting to see how a team bounces back after taking their first loss of the season. For some, a run of bad games follows, while others are able to shake off the loss and keep moving forward. After jumping out to a 4-0 start, the Baylor Bears finally lost this past weekend, going down 24-14 to the Oklahoma State Cowboys. That loss has the Bears in a bit of a hole in the Big 12, so a win here is crucial. The Mountaineers have now lost 2 in a row, with both games coming against conference foes, so their season is essentially over in terms of winning the Big 12. They have now failed to win in their last 6 road games, so they will be up against it on the road to Baylor this weekend. I think the Bears get that bounce back win.

Louisville Cardinals over Virginia Cavaliers

With Clemson failing to impress this year and already losing a conference game, the ACC is now surprisingly wide open. Things may start to get a little cutthroat in there, so every single conference game is of vital importance. The Louisville Cardinals are up against it in the Atlantic Division because of the start that Wake Forest are off to, so nothing less than a win will do here. Virginia is 1-2 already in the Coastal Division and you have to think that another conference loss will end their challenge. Louisville has lost each of their last 5 games versus teams from the Coastal, but they are also 5-1 SU in their last 6 games at home. I like that home field advantage to come into play this weekend.

Iowa Hawkeyes over Penn State Nittany Lions

As far as games go on the Week 6 schedule, they do not come any bigger than this one. After all, we are looking at a pair of top 4 teams going head-to-head in what could essentially prove to be a playoff elimination game. Sure, the team that loses could still make the playoff, but they would also require some help along the way besides being perfect the rest of the season. There are arguments to be made for both teams here, especially with Penn State winning 5 of their last 6 versus Iowa and the Hawkeyes winning each of their last 8 versus teams from the Big Ten. We have played Iowa a lot this season in our picks and they have been good to us, so let’s roll with them again.

NCAAF 2020 Season Week 6 SU Picks Expert Analysis

We are heading into Week 6 of what is a rather odd season in college football. We have some conferences sitting out altogether while other are still getting ready to start later in the year. It’s going to make things very challenging indeed for the playoff committee when the time comes, but all we can do at the moment is use an old cliché and take on week at a time. One of the positives of football during the coronavirus is that we are seeing mostly conference matchups, which means that rivalry week is just about every week. That can make things tough on bettors, as those types of games tend to be tight and unpredictable. Still, we are going to do our best to go through the weekend schedule to see if we can pick some winners at decent NCAAF odds, so let’s get right to it.

NCAAF SU Picks Week 6 | College Football Betting

Oklahoma Sooners over Texas Longhorns

This will be the 3rd Big 12 matchup of the season for the Oklahoma Sooners, but it may come as a surprise to many that they are still looking for their first conference win. This is a team that came into the season as the favorite to win the Big 12, but that now looks to be a longshot at best after back to back losses to Kansas State and Iowa State. Next up is the Texas Longhorns, who are themselves coming off a stunning loss to TCU last weekend. The cat has very much been set among the pigeons in this conference, making this game even bigger than it usually is. A close one here with a lot of scoring, but I am taking the Sooners to edge it.

Syracuse Orange over Duke Blue Devils

Given how things have gone for these 2 teams to start the season, it is perhaps a little surprising to see the Syracuse Orange in as a 2 ½ point home underdog this weekend. I think that this is an opportunity to get a slight underdog in as a pick on out parlay tickets. Duke have opened the season with an 0-4 record, and other than a 38-31 loss to Virginia Tech last weekend, they have not been particularly competitive. They are now just 1-8 SU in their last 9 versus team from the ACC. Syracuse got off the mark last weekend with a convincing win over Georgia Tech and will be looking to build on that. The Orange are always tough to beat at home, going 10-2 SU in their last 12. Let’s take them to improve on that record.

Kentucky Wildcats over Mississippi State Bulldogs

If you ask college football fans to name the toughest conference to win, the vast majority would likely point you in the direction of the SEC. It could be argued that this season is going to be tougher than most, with every team forced to play an all-conference schedule. We are just 2 weeks into SEC play, and it has already become clear that this is going to be a tough road for every team. The Kentucky Wildcats are at home this weekend looking for their first win of the season, with the Mississippi State Bulldogs (1-1) coming to town. Kentucky is just 2-5 SU in their last 7 against the Bulldogs, but I have a sneaking suspicion that they might just pull this one out.

2019 College Football Week 6 SU Betting Picks

It was a bit of a strange one in Week 5, with the Alabama Crimson Tide overtaking the Clemson Tigers for the #1 ranking in the nation. Both teams are still unbeaten, but Clemson barely hung on to beat the North Carolina Tar Heels, which was enough to see them drop a notch in the rankings. College Football Week 6 has some more big games on tap, which means that we might see some movement in the top 25 once all is said and done.

With so many games to watch and wager on, making your NCAAF Betting picks can be tough, but we are here to help. We will have ATS and O/U picks coming your way, but for the purposes of this piece, we are going to look at some college football Week 6 SU picks.

2019 College Football Week 6 SU Betting Picks

Washington vs Stanford 2019 College Football Week 6 Lines, Game Info & Analysis

UCF Knights over Cincinnati Bearcats in College Football Week 6

The UCF Knights have ruled the roost in the AAC for the past few seasons, but could this be the year when they fall back to the pack a little? If one team has a shot at catching them, it might just be the Cincinnati Bearcats, who are coming into this game with the same 3-1 record as the Knights.

This is one that has the potential to turn into a shootout, as both of these teams have the ability to put big points up on the board. The bookies have this as a tight one, with the Knight favored by 4. This is a tough road trip for UCF, but I like them to pick up the win on Friday night.

College Football Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Knights are 18-2 SU in their last 20 games
  • Knights are 10-1 SU in their last 11 games on the road
  • Bearcats are 9-0 SU in their last 9 games at home
  • Bearcats are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games against an opponent in the American Athletic Conference conference

Iowa State Cyclones over TCU Horned Frogs in College Football Week 6

One of the fun parts of making these weekly picks is finding games that have the potential for being close and trying to figure out who will come away with the win. We have what looks to be a very good one here, with TCU taking their 3-1 season record on the road to go against the 2-2 Iowa State Cyclones.

The Games that the Cyclones have lost have been by a combined 3 points, which includes a 1-point loss to ranked Iowa. This is a team that is 8-1 SU in their last 9 at home, so I finally like a close one to go their way.

College Football Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Horned Frogs are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games against Iowa State
  • Horned Frogs are 8-2 SU in their last 10 games played in week 6
  • Cyclones are 9-4 SU in their last 13 games
  • Cyclones are 9-3 SU in their last 12 games played on a Saturday

Iowa Hawkeyes over Michigan Wolverines in College Football Week 6

Alright, I think it’s time that we have an underdog pick added to the mix, and this is the game that jumps out at me for that selection. The Wolverines have struggled to get anything going all year, and while they did win 52-0 last week, it came against a very poor Rutgers team.

Michigan is one of the favorites for the College Football Week 6 betting action.

The Hawkeyes come into Week 6 with a perfect 4-0 record, as well as a defense that could cause the Wolverines a lot of problems. This is one that I considered playing against the spread, but I actually think that Iowa might win this one outright.

College Football Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Hawkeyes are 7-0 SU in their last 7 games
  • Hawkeyes are 5-1 SU in their last 6 games against Michigan
  • Wolverines are 10-0 SU in their last 10 games at home
  • Wolverines are 9-2 SU in their last 11 games against an opponent in the Big 10 conference

Air Force Falcons over Navy Midshipmen in College Football Week 6

This is always one of the games on the schedule that we always look forward to, as we very often get close games that are a ton of fun to watch. These two teams have evenly split each of their last 10 meetings, but if we are going by the eye test alone, it is Air Force who looks to have the better team this season.

Despite that, the bookies have this one as close, with the Falcons in as a 2 ½ point favorite. I think they win this one a good deal more convincingly, though, so you may also want to think about playing Air Force ATS.

College Football Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Falcons are 4-1 SU in their last 5 games
  • Falcons are 2-7 SU in their last 9 games on the road
  • Midshipmen are 3-10 SU in their last 13 games
  • Midshipmen are 7-1 SU in their last 8 games when playing at home against Air Force

NCAAF Week 6 Straight Up Picks & Betting Lines
We are 5 weeks into the 2017 college football season, and there are some clear favorites starting to emerge. There are a couple of teams, such as Alabama and Clemson, who we expected to be in this position, but there are several more who are showing that they may be able to break up the monopoly that the Tigers and the Crimson Tide have had on the National Championship Game over the last two seasons, and they are ready to prove it in NCAAF Week 6. Be sure to check the latest College Football odds during the week, it’s never too early to start looking ahead, and as always, we have put together some straight up picks to get the ball rolling. I will, once again, try to steer clear of the potential blowout games here, as I go in search of some value in the games featuring ranked opponents going head to head, although there are only a couple of those this weekend.

NCAAF Week 6 Straight Up Picks & Betting Lines

2018 NCAA FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP ODDS TO WIN

Louisville Cardinals over North Carolina State Wolfpack

Opening odds: Louisville -4 While Thursday nights are usually set aside for NFL action, we actually have a very good college football match-up on tap, too. The Louisville Cardinals appear to have righted the ship after getting pounded by Clemson in Week 3 and have reeled off back to back wins against lesser opponents, racking up points and playing better defensively in the process. NC State may still have been celebrating their big win over Florida State this past weekend, as they made tough work of getting past Syracuse. This is one that might stay close through the first three-quarters, but I believe Louisville will pull away late to get the win.

Latest NCAAF Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Louisville is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
  • North Carolina State is 6-1 SU in its last 7 games
  • Louisville is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games on the road
  • Louisville is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games when playing North Carolina State

Georgia Bulldogs over Vanderbilt Commodores

Opening odds: Georgia -17.5 It’s still way too early to talk about the SEC Championship Game, but that three-quarters fans and pundits drooling over the prospect of an Alabama/Georgia match-up. The SEC has been crying out for a contender to the Crimson Tide for years, and the Bulldogs look like they might fit the bill this season. Georgia is a dominant force on the defensive side of the football, and over the past 2 weeks they have faced Mississippi State and Tennessee, and have only given up a combined 3 points. Add to that the fact that they racked up 72 points of offense and you can understand why Vandy look like lambs to the slaughter in Week 6.

Latest NCAAF Week 6 Betting Trends

  • Georgia is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games
  • Georgia is 5-1 SU in its last 6 games on the road
  • Vanderbilt is 2-4 ATS in its last 6 games
  • Georgia is 19-3 SU in its last 22 games when playing Vanderbilt
  • Georgia is 10-1 SU in its last 11 games when playing on the road against Vanderbilt
  • Vanderbilt is 5-2 SU in its last 7 games at home

TCU Horned Frogs over West Virginia Mountaineers

Opening odds: TCU -14 If you like your college football games with a lot of offense, then this may be the match-up for you this coming weekend. Both of these teams know how to get to the end zone, and both offenses will need to be at their best to get the win in this one. The majority of the pressure here is on the Mountaineers, as they know that one more loss will effectively end their slim hopes of a playoff spot. TCU is one of the favorites for NCAAF Week 6. TCU already has a big win over Oklahoma State under their belts, and another win against a ranked opponent should see them move up the rankings in a big way. My money is on the Horned Frogs at home, but pay attention to the OVER with this game, too.

Latest NCAAF Week 6 Betting Trends

  • West Virginia is 18-5 SU in its last 23 games
  • Texas Christian is 4-1 SU in its last 5 games
  • Texas Christian is 19-6 SU in its last 25 games at home

Alabama Crimson Tide over Texas A&M Aggies

Opening odds: Alabama -26.5 It seems ridiculous to talk about a potential trip-up game for the Alabama Crimson Tide, especially when you look at how they have dominated this season. In the last 2 weeks alone, they have beaten Vanderbilt and Ole Miss by a combined 125-3. Most people are expecting a similar result this coming weekend when Alabama goes in as a 24-point favorite over the Aggies. I don’t think we should be sleeping on Texas A&M, though. Their loss in Week 1 had everyone talking about how soon Kevin Sumlin was going to be fired, but they have quietly put together 4 straight wins since then. That streak comes to an end this weekend, but keep an eye on that spread.
