Another week was done in the college football season, and we have more movement within the Top 10 of the AP Poll. This season has seen a lot of change within the polls. With many huge conference matchups coming, we’ll see even more changes. Let’s take a look at this Week’s Top 10 college football teams so you can keep betting against the NCAAF odds.
Top 25 College Football Teams – Updated Analysis and Betting Opportunities
1. Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia took down the undefeated Kentucky Wildcats, further solidifying their grasp on the #1 spot in the rankings. While Georgia’s defense has gotten all of the attention, we can’t forget how well Stetson Bennett has played since replacing JT Daniels. If the Georgia offense continues to improve, they’ll be hard to beat. They have a bye this week, and they’ll play the Florida Gators next.
2. Cincinnati Bearcats
With Iowa losing, Cincinnati moves up to #2. They destroyed Central Florida on Saturday. If they run the table, we’ll see if the committee thinks that the Bearcats are worthy of a playoff spot.
3. Oklahoma Sooners
Replacing Spencer Rattler with Caleb Williams may have saved the Oklahoma Sooners season. They seem to have found a new life with Williams under center. The dynamic signal-caller has sparked the Sooner offense.
4. Alabama Crimson Tide
Now that they’ve lost a game, look out for the Tide. Nick Saban’s crew dominated Mississippi State and will look to do the same to Tennessee this week.
5. Ohio State Buckeyes
Ohio State is getting into a good groove at the right time of the season. Their offense is one of the best in the country, and their defense is getting better each week. Right now, they look like the class of the Big 10, and if they win out, they’ll be a factor in the playoff race.
6. Michigan Wolverines
Could this finally be the year that Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines breakthrough? We shall see. They still have a long road ahead of them, as they have dates with Michigan State this weekend, Penn State, and Ohio State to end the regular season.
7. Oklahoma State Cowboys
They won a thriller over Texas last weekend. Mike Gundy’s offense isn’t as high-powered as it has been in the past, but it is still an excellent unit. Oklahoma State is playing defense this season, which has been one of its most significant weaknesses in the past. They still have to play a tough Iowa State squad and Oklahoma, so they may not be undefeated for long.
8. Michigan State Spartans
Mel Tucker has done a great job of rebuilding this program on the fly. The Big 10 East is loaded, so we’ll see how long they hang around in the Top 10.
9. Penn State Nittany Lions
They’re in the Big 10 East as well. We’ll see what the outcomes are in the next few weeks.
10. Oregon Ducks
They get to stay near the top by their victory over Ohio State. They could very well run the table in the Pac 10, but a playoff berth isn’t likely.
Top 10 Betting Pick – Ohio State (-18.5) @ Indiana
Even though the Hoosiers nearly upset OSU last season, it’s not going to happen this year. Indiana played well last week in their tough loss to Michigan State, but they won’t repeat that performance this week. The Buckeye offense is too good for the Hoosiers. Ohio State wins this one by at least 21.
