Top College Football Expert Picks Of The Week

Written by on September 27, 2016

As we head into Week 5 of the 2016 college football season, it’s time to take a look at some of the games that might be worth playing some money on. Trying to narrow down so many games into just a few top picks is tough, but I have decided to focus on the bigger games this week, which helps make the task of deciding which ones to play a little bit easier. Actually getting the predictions right is a little tougher, but that is all part of the fun and excitement of online betting on sports. I am going to get things rolling with a Friday night game this week, before picking a few more big ones for Saturday.

Analyzing The Top College Football Expert Picks Of The Week

Washington Huskies over Stanford Cardinal

A battle of two Top 10 teams is a pretty good reason to stay home on a Friday night, and it’s also a good reason to get a wager or two on. A win here could well see Stanford move into the top 4, but they will have to be better than they were against UCLA last time out. They will also have to be at their best to stop the Huskies great offensive game. These two teams can score, but I like this one to go UNDER, as it has in the past two seasons, and I like the Washington Huskies to come away with a narrow win.

Miami Hurricanes over Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

The excitement level is Miami is building, as the Hurricanes are up to #14 in the rankings under new head coach Mark Richt. This may well be their toughest test of the season, as you can bet that Tech are still smarting after their mistake laden outing against Clemson last week. I think that this is going to be a close one, and that Miami will escape with a win in the 3 to 5-point range.

Michigan Wolverines over Wisconsin Badgers

Things are starting to get real in the Big 10, and this is a game that is sure to separate the men from the boys. Both teams are coming in with a perfect 4-0 record, and both know that a win here will go a long way towards improving their hopes of playoff football at the end of the season. You have to give the edge to Michigan Wolverines in The Big House, but I’m not so sure the win will be by a huge number. I like the Wolverines by a TD.

Louisville Cardinals over Clemson Tigers

I have to admit that I have gone back and forth a couple of times on this one, but at the end of the day, I think it is going to be Louisville who come away with the big win here. They have looked great all season long, while the Tigers have struggled to reach the heights of their play from last year. I expect this to be a close one, though, and would not be surprised to see an OT win from Louisville.
