Defense wins these types of games as Syracuse went just 3-of-12 on third down attempts and 1-of-2 on fourth down attempts.

The Syracuse Orange just simply was atrocious running the ball against this Panthers defensive front, which is still there, as they had 30 rushing attempts for 25 yards (0.8 rushing yards per attempt).

Pickett had an incredible game passing the ball on this defense, so I expect Kedon Slovis to do the same exact thing in this game.
