Why Bet On Michigan State?

The winner here controls its destiny to take the Big Ten East Division and face Wisconsin in the conference title game. Sparty was a disaster last year but already has wins over ranked foes Michigan and, this past Saturday, Penn State. That was 27-24, a game delayed right in the midst of it more than three hours due to weather.  Matt Coghlin kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired — some seven hours after the game began. QB Brian Lewerke tied for the second-most passing yards in MSU history with 400 in the victory over Penn State. Lewerke was 33-for-56 and had a pair of touchdowns as the passing game continues to be the Spartans’ most effective method of moving the ball.  Junior Felton Davis 12 catches for 181 yards, both career highs, while catching a 33-yard touchdown vs. PSU. Michigan State has defeated eight AP Top 10 teams since 2013, second most in the FBS (Alabama). The Spartans are 9-5 in their last 14 games against teams ranked in the AP Top 10 (beat No. 4 Wisconsin in 2011; beat No. 2 Ohio State and No. 5 Stanford in 2013; lost to No. 3 Oregon and beat No. 4 Baylor in 2014; beat No. 7 Oregon, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 4 Iowa, and lost to No. 2 Alabama in 2015; lost to No. 2 Michigan, No. 2 Ohio State and No. 8 Penn State in 2016; beat No. 7 Michigan and No. 7 Penn State in 2017). Mark Dantonio has nine wins against AP Top 10 teams during his tenure at MSU (9-9 record against AP Top 10 teams). MSU now has eight walk-off wins (scoring as time expired in regulation or in OT) under Dantonio. MSU’s last win on the last play of the game in regulation came on Michael Geiger’s 41-yard field goal to defeat No. 2 Ohio State on Nov. 21, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio.

Why Bet On Ohio State?

The Buckeyes will fall from No. 6 in the new CFP Top 25 after being stunned 55-24 at Iowa on Saturday to end OSU’s chances at the College Football Playoff. The 55 points Ohio State gave up are the most the Buckeyes have allowed since 1994, which came at the hands of No. 1 Penn State, and the most points allowed ever by an Urban Meyer-coached team. Iowa went up 7-0 on the game’s first play — a pick-six of J.T. Barrett — and raced out to a 31-17 halftime lead on a pair of Nate Stanley TD passes to Noah Fant. Barrett’s 4 interceptions were the most by a Buckeye QB since Greg Frey in 1990. That ends Barrett’s shot at the Heisman. Defensive end Nick Bosa was also ejected for targeting in the first half, and the Buckeyes committed nine penalties in their most lopsided defeat since last year’s 31-0 loss to eventual national champion Clemson in the playoff. Last year, OSU beat Michigan State 17-16. Mike Weber ran for 111 yards and a touchdown. The Spartans were down 17-10 when LJ Scott scored on a 1-yard run with 4:41 to play. Michigan State went for the lead, but Tyler O’Connor’s pass on the 2-point conversion attempt was intercepted in the end zone. Michigan State managed only 127 yards passing, over half of it on one play. Ohio State wasn’t very productive through the air, either. Barrett went 10 of 22 for 86 yards on a windy day that included sporadic snow flurries.

Georgia at Auburn NCAAF Odds & Game Info

When: Saturday, 3:30 PM ET Where: Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn TV: CBS Stream: CBSSports.com Radio: 750 AM (Georgia) / 93.9 FM (Auburn) Opening College Football Week 11 Betting Lines: Georgia -2.5

Why Bet On Georgia?

This could be a preview of the SEC title game – but only if Auburn wins. Then it would have to upset Alabama to end the regular season. Georgia clinched the SEC East with a 24-10 win over South Carolina on Saturday. Though coming in as 24-point favorites, it was the least-dominating game the Dawgs played since Week 2 when they edged now No. 3-ranked Notre Dame 20-19 in South Bend. The starters stayed on the field until the final snap for the first time in two months. Jake Fromm completed 16 of 22 passes for 196 yards and two touchdowns, including a 10-yarder to Javon Wims in the second quarter that gave Georgia (9-0, 6-0 SEC) the lead for good. With South Carolina loading up the box to slow down the Bulldogs’ run game, Fromm was 7-for-9 for 76 yards in the opening quarter. Is Georgia a safe bet in Week 11? Fromm, the true freshman, came into the game averaging only 157.9 passing yards per game, with 13 touchdowns and four interceptions. He’s not in the top 10 in the SEC in yards per game, but he entered the day second in passing efficiency. Sony Michel finished with 81 yards on 16 carries, while Nick Chubb led the way with 102 yards on 20 attempts. Georgia has won its first nine games for the first time since 1982 This will be the 121st all-time meeting of the teams, with Georgia holding a 57-55-8 edge. Auburn lost last year’s game, 13-7 in Athens, and has dropped three straight, five of six and nine of 11 in the series.

Why Bet On Auburn?

Auburn beat Texas A&M 42-27 on Saturday. The Tigers blocked a punt for a touchdown to capture momentum, then put away the game with a 96-yard drive that consumed half of the fourth quarter. Trailing 13-7 late in the second quarter, Jarrett Stidham hit Darius Slayton for a 53-yard touchdown pass to reclaim the lead for Auburn. Auburn’s defense then forced a punt, which Nick Ruffin blocked and Malik Miller recovered for a touchdown, giving the Tigers 14 points in 1:16 and a 21-13 halftime lead. Auburn scored the first two touchdowns of the second half, taking a 35-13 lead on a 4-yard pass from Stidham to Ryan Davis and a 2-yard Kerryon Johnson run. Johnson rushed for 145 yards on 29 carries, adding 29 receiving yards on 5 catches, including his first career touchdown reception. Playing three hours from his home in Stephenville, Texas, Baylor transfer QB Jarrett Stidham completed 20 of 27 passes for 268 yards and three touchdowns. With 1,971 career rushing yards, Johnson is now 19th on the Auburn career rushing list, passing Nick Marshall (1,866 from 2013-14), Phil Gargis (1,884 from 1973-76) and Fob James (1,913 from 1952-55). Johnson was the first Auburn RB to have a rushing and receiving score in the same game since Tre Mason vs. Florida State in the 2014 BCS national championship game. Johnson has 16 total touchdowns this season and 15 in the last six games. He now has 30 career touchdowns. His 29 career rushing scores tie Ronnie Brown (2000-04) for sixth on Auburn’s career list. Johnson has scored in all seven of his games played this season Johnson is the only Auburn player since 1996 to score 16 touchdowns through the first nine games of the season Daniel Carlson extended his SEC and Auburn career scoring record to 440 career points scored. Carlson has converted 182 consecutive PAT attempts, a school and SEC record. That ranks sixth in SEC history in PAT made. As a team, Auburn has converted 209 consecutive PAT, the second longest active streak nationally
