Ducks Want to Put Huskies Behind Them

The Oregon Ducks had the lead late and even had a chance to win the game at Washington.

It was a well-played game and one that should not and did not send them down far in the College Football rankings. The Ducks now have to navigate through their final six games and run the table to get a chance at a rematch with the Huskies.

Many feel if Oregon runs the table and finishes 12-1, they will have a shot at the College Football Playoff. First things first – Washington State.

The Ducks are scoring 48.5 points per game, which ranks first in all of College Football. The Ducks are Top 10 in both passing offense, with 331.7 yards per game, and rushing offense, with 223.3 yards per game.

Bucky Irving leads the rushing attack with 520 yards and five touchdowns. Troy Franklin is the top receiving option for Oregon, as he is 11 yards shy of 700 and also has eight touchdowns.

Bo Nix comes into the game with 17 passing touchdowns and nearly 1,800 yards. He is third in the current Heisman Trophy Betting Odds.

Washington State Needs to Rebound Quickly

After four straight wins, which included wins over Wisconsin and Oregon State, the Cougars have hit a rough patch. After a 25-17 loss at UCLA, the Cougars scored the first touchdown of the game against Arizona. The Wildcats then scored the next 44 points in the game.

Washington State still has a pretty favorable schedule following this game, as they are at Arizona State and California and home against Stanford and Colorado before finishing at Washington.

Cameron Ward is the leader of the Washington State offensive attack. Ward has 1,779 passing yards and 14 passing touchdowns. The Cougars passing attack ranks fifth in all of College Football.

The Cougars are scoring 35 points per game while allowing 28.5 per game. Ward’s top target has been Kyle Williams. Williams has 33 receptions, 447 yards, and four touchdowns on the season.

The run game is where the Cougars need some help. Washington State ranks 125th in the nation, with just 93 yards per game. Nakia Watson leads the rushing attack, but he has just 153 yards on the ground all season.

Ducks Fly by Cougars

The Ducks seem to be ready to get back at it and are up for the challenge here. Washington State seems to have flatlined a little and will be in for a rude awakening over the final few weeks of the season. Oregon has shown the ability to score, with 291 points on the season.

Look for Bo Nix and his crew to score a bunch early and keep on the gas for most of the way. In the end, the Ducks cruise to an easy victory

The final bet for this is the Oregon Ducks -19.5 over the Washington State Cougars. Our final score prediction for this game is the Oregon Ducks 45-17 over the Washington State Cougars.
