It’s Week 11, and the oddsmakers have spoken. In looking over this week’s slate of games, we’ve found three games that we have a good beat on. We’re now going to give you our “sure losers” in Week 11 so you can make your bets against their NCAAF Odds.
Who Will Be the Big Losers In Week 11 of the 2022 College Football Season?
TCU Horned Frogs @ Texas Longhorns (-6.5)
TCU is 9-0 on the season, and will now have a date with the Texas Longhorns in Austin. Texas is 6-3 on the season, coming off of a good victory over Kansas State. TCU was challenged at home by Texas Tech, but ultimately beat the Red Raiders 34-24. With TCU holding a two-game lead over Texas, Baylor, and Kansas State, the Horned Frogs know they can’t afford to slip up this late in the season, not only for the conference race, but also in the race for a College Football Playoffs berth.
Both teams have strong running attacks. Bijan Robinson of Texas is arguably the best running back in the country. He had 209 yards on the ground against Kansas State. Kendre Miller has had a nice stretch, and had 158 yards on the ground.
The oddsmakers smell an upset here, as the Texas Longhorns are 6.5-point favorites. We agree with the oddsmakers. This is going to be the game where TCU’s luck runs out. Quinn Ewers and the Texas Longhorns will upset the TCU Horned Frogs, thus making TCU one of this week’s “sure losers.”
Pitt Panthers @ Virginia Cavaliers (+4.5)
Pitt has had an up-and-down season, but they’re coming off of a big victory over the ranked Syracuse Orange on Saturday. Pitt’s defense held Syracuse’s offense to just 145 total yards of offense. Pitt’s offense can look good at times, but they have a tendency to turn the ball over, so that has hurt them numerous times this season.
As for the Virginia Cavaliers, at 3-6, this season has been a disappointment. They played North Carolina tough on Saturday, but the Tar Heels prevailed 31-28. Virginia has now lost five of their last six games, and their last two. The Cavaliers are looking for something good to happen on Saturday.
Unfortunately for Virginia, we don’t think that Saturday is the day that something good happens for them. Pittsburgh is the better team, and will prove that on Saturday. Pitt comes out of Virginia with a seven-point victory, thus covering the spread. That makes the Virginia Cavaliers another one of our “sure losers” for Week 11 of the College Football season.
Georgia Bulldogs @ Mississippi State Bulldogs
In the “Battle of the Bulldogs,” Georgia will head to Mississippi State. Mike Leach is known for his high-powered aerial attack. However, Mississippi State will be going up against one of the best defenses in the country, so they’ll have a tough time getting the passing attack going.
Georgia is 9-0 after their outstanding victory over Tennessee on Saturday. Georgia knows that if they can win out, they’ll have a great shot at a playoff berth. Mississippi State would love to play a spoiler in this one.
The Georgia Bulldogs are a 16.5-point favorite. They have dominated their opponents all year long, and this week will be no different. Georgia wins this one easily, and will cover the spread.
