2023 College Football Week 4 ATS Picks

College Football Week 3 was fun but as far as interesting matchups, nothing beats College Football Week 4.

On Saturday, Coach Prime leads the undefeated Colorado Buffaloes into Autzen to take on the Oregon. The Buffs are a +21 spread line underdog. We handicap that game as well as seven others against the spread.

2023 College Football Week 4 ATS Picks | MyBookie Regular Season Betting Preview

2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season | 154th season of college football in the United States
NCAAF Week 4: Thursday, September 18th – Saturday, September 24th, 2023

Boise State Broncos at San Diego State Aztecs

ATS Odds: Boise State -6.5; San Diego State +6.5 / Boise State -440
Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at 10:30 pm | CBSSN
Snapdragon Stadium, San Diego, CA

San Diego State has a 2-2 record but that’s because the Aztecs started the season against Ohio, a MAC squad, and Idaho State. SDSU barely got by Idaho State.

In their last couple of games, the Aztecs have fallen by 25 to UCLA and by 17 to Oregon State. Boise State is the better team and should carry momentum from a 42-18 victory over North Dakota into this.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Boise State -6.5 | Bet Boise State at San Diego State

Rutgers Scarlet Knights at 2 Michigan Wolverines

ATS Odds: Rutgers +24; Michigan -24 / Rutgers +440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 12:00 pm | BTN
Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, MI

Michigan could cover this spread, but the Wolverines understand the goal, which is to save something in the tank for Michigan Penn State, Ohio State, and a possible College Football Playoff run.

Not only that, but Rutgers is a solid team. The Scarlet Knights are 3-0 SU and ATS. Rutgers plays tight enough for the against the spread win.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Rutgers +24 | Bet Rutgers at Michigan

16 Oklahoma Sooners at Cincinnati Bearcats

ATS Odds: Oklahoma -14.5; Cincinnati +14.5 / Oklahoma -440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 12:00 pm | FOX
Nippert Stadium, Cincinnati, OH

Oklahoma is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 going back to last season. The Sooners are on the verge of breaking into the top ten and attracting looks as a CFP contender.

Cincinnati lost to Miami (OH) in their last. The Bearcats have home field advantage, but the Sooners are much better than this line implies.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Oklahoma -14.5 | Bet Oklahoma at Cincinnati

19 Colorado Buffalos at 10 Oregon Ducks

ATS Odds: Colorado +21; Oregon -21 / Colorado +440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 3:30 pm | ABC
Autzen Stadium, Eugene, OR

The Buffalos are a good football team. Coach Prime has his fellas playing with incredible confidence. But the Buffs must play this without Travis Hunter, who is not only Shadeur Sanders’ top receiving target but also the Buffs’ best cornerback.

The Ducks are a legit CFB National Championship contender and this happens in Autzen. In this game, Oregon’s talent overwhelms the Buffalos.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Oregon -21 | Bet Colorado at Oregon

22 UCLA Bruins at 11 Utah Utes

ATS Odds: UCLA +4; Utah -4 / UCLA +440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 3:30 pm | FOX
Rice-Eccles Stadium, Salt Lake City, UT

UCLA has played great ball to not only go 3-0 on the money line but also 3-0 against the spread. On Saturday, the Bruins face one of the better teams in the country, though.

Utah has already beaten Florida, a quality SEC squad, and Baylor UCLA, a decent Big 12 team. The Utes are tough to beat at home. They will be especially tough to beat on Saturday because Utes star QB Cam Rising makes his season debut.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Utah -4 | Bet UCLA at Utah

Arkansas Razorbacks at 12 LSU Tigers

ATS Odds: Arkansas +17.5; LSU -17.5 / Arkansas +440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 3:30 pm | FOX
Tiger Stadium (LA), Baton Rouge, LA

LSU is legit. The lone loss came against 4 Florida State in the Tigers’ first game. Since then, LSU has dominated, blasting Grambling 72-10 to cover a -57 line and dominating Mississippi State on the road 41-14.

Arkansas quarterback K.J. Jefferson is terrific. But the LSU defense is lockdown city and the offense is unstoppable. Brian Kelly’s squad wins this by at least 20.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: LSU -17.5 | Bet Arkansas at LSU

24 Iowa Hawkeyes at 7 Penn State Nittany Lions

ATS Odds: Iowa +14.5; Penn State -14.5 / Iowa +440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 7:30 pm | CBS
Beaver Stadium, University Park, PA

Iowa is a good team, but the Hawkeyes will struggle to put up points against one of the top teams in the nation. Still, Kirk Ferentz calls the shots for the Hawkeyes.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Iowa +14.5 | Bet Iowa at Penn State

5 USC Trojans at Arizona State Sun Devils

ATS Odds: USC -35; Arizona State +35 / USC -440
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 7:30 pm | CBS
Mountain America Stadium, Tempe, AZ

-35 on the road versus Arizona State feels like too many points to give up. But the Sun Devils would be a -24 or so underdog versus USC if they were at full strength.

On Saturday, ASU won’t be at full strength. Fresno State blasted the Devils 29-0. So we should expect the Trojans to beat Arizona State by at least 36.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: USC -35 | Bet USC at Arizona State

California Golden Bears at 8 Washington Huskies

ATS Odds: California +21; Washington -21
Saturday, September 23rd, 2023 at 7:30 pm | CBS
Mountain America Stadium, Tempe, AZ

Right now, Washington is the best team in the nation. Forget AP Rankings. The Associated Press doesn’t study every team. They’re going with Georgia because of the name, not because of how well Georgia has played.

Washington has dominated, thoroughly dominated, their opponents. The offense is unstoppable and the defense is great. Ice Dogs prevail against the spread.

College Football Week 4 ATS Pick: Washington -21 | Bet California at Washington

NCAAF 2021 Season – Week 4 ATS Betting Picks

The games in college football are coming thick and fast, with Week 4 of the season right around the corner. We came very close to getting a lot of surprises in Week 3, with some of the bigger teams squeaking out wins in tight games. Of the teams sitting at the top, it was once again the Georgia Bulldogs who delivered the goods in a performance that was solid on both sides of the football. Every team in the NCAA is only as good as their last performance, though, so all the playoff candidates will want to come out and deliver the type of performance that will look good once the playoff committee gets together to begin with their rankings. After hitting all 3 picks in Week 1, we have cooled off and now sit at 4-5 on the season with out ATS picks. Let’s see if we can correct that in Week 4.

Week 4 ATS Picks for the 2021 Season | NCAA Football Betting

Missouri Tigers at Boston College Eagles (+2 ½)

We are starting out this week’s picks by taking a look at an underdog in Week 4. The Boston College Eagles are at home this weekend, but the bookies still have them in as a dog against the Missouri Tigers. Boston College are off to a good start, winning each of their first 3 games and putting some big points on the board along the way. The Tigers are 2-1 on the season, and while they have been scoring, too, their defense has left a lot to be desired. I looked at this one for the OVER, but instead opted to take the Eagles to cover the spread. Missouri has failed to cover in 6 straight games and is just 1-8 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Eagles have covered in 5 of their last 6 at home.

Colorado State Rams at Iowa Hawkeyes (-22 ½)

I don’t often go with big double-digit point spreads, but Iowa have proven to be a bit of a lucky charm for me this season, so I am sticking with them. The Hawkeyes started the season by taking out a pair of ranked teams before delivering a comfortable win against Kent. They have covered in all 3 games this season, which has then on a 5-game run of covering the spread. Furthermore, they have covered in each of their last 7 games played on a Saturday. On the flipside, Colorado State has failed to cover in 4 of their last 5 games overall and are also 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games on the road. That all adds up to the Hawkeyes covering the spread this weekend.

Nebraska Cornhuskers at Michigan State Spartans (-5)

I’ll be the first to admit that this one makes me a little nervous, but I like taking a shot when putting together these picks. This is a huge game for both teams, as it will have a definite impact on how things play out in the Big Ten. Nebraska has already dropped a game in conference play, while the Spartans are unbeaten at 3-0, with one of those wins coming in the Big Ten. Where things get a little dodgy here is that the Cornhuskers have covered in 8 of their last 9 meetings with the Spartans. Michigan State has a bit of a miserable record ATS of late, but I have a hunch that they pull this one out.

2019 College Football Week 4 ATS Betting Picks

It may seem hard to believe, but this weekend will take us into Week 4 of the college football season. This is very often when things start to get really interesting, with the top teams leaving their easy opening week schedules behind in favor of the tougher games. There are some big ones on the schedule this coming Saturday and we are here to try and help you break down your picks.

We will be looking at SU selections, as well as the O/U, but we are going to get the ball rolling with a bunch of games where the point spread looks particularly appealing, so let’s get right into the College Football Week 4 betting action.

2019 College Football Week 4 ATS Betting Picks

LSU Tigers (-23 ½) at Vanderbilt Commodores

It is no real surprise that the Tigers are coming into this one with a perfect record, but what may be a little surprising is how good this team has been with the aerial attack. The Tigers are averaging a whopping 55 PPG through the first 3 weeks of the season and will be going against a Vanderbilt team that is winless and seemingly unable to defend the passing game.

LSU has covered the spread in 4 of their last 5 games on the road, but it is their record against fellow SEC teams that stands out here, going 11-3 ATS in their last 14 games against conference foes.

Boston College Eagles (-7) at Rutgers Scarlet Knights

You look at certain trend with a specific team and you see what looks to be a very obvious wager beginning to appear. It’s only when you dig a little deeper that you see that going the other way might be the best idea. That is the case with Boston College, who have only managed to cover the spread once in their last 7 attempts.

They are also just 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games versus teams from the Big Ten, but that all changes when they go against Rutgers. They have won 9-straight against the Scarlet Knights and have covered in 7 of those games. I like them to do it again this weekend.

Miami-OH Redhawks at Ohio State Buckeyes (-39)

3 weeks into the season and the Buckeyes are yet to lose a game with their new head coach in charge. They have also scored at least 42 points in each of those games, with their best outing being a 51-10 win over Indiana last weekend.

The Buckeyes are favorites for the College Football Week 4.

QB Justin Fields, who transferred in for Georgia, has been as advertised, and he looks set to go off again this weekend against the Redhawks. I’m not usually a fan of these larger spreads, but you have to like what Ohio State have done, going 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games played in September, not to mention 9-4 ATS in their last 13 Week 4 games.

2019 College Football Week 4 Parlay Betting Picks

UCF Knights (-12) at Pittsburgh Panthers

It’s a new season, but for the UCF Knights, it’s the same old same old, as they have made the regular season look easy to this point. They are averaging 55 PPG, as well as over 300 YPG in the air and on the ground. In short, stopping this offense is proving to be next to impossible for any team that faces the Knights.

Pittsburgh are next and I think that the 12-point spread here is an absolute steal. If I only had to play one game this week, this would be it. UCF are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games, which includes a perfect 3-0 record this year.

Top College Football Week 4 ATS Betting Picks

Welcome to this week’s edition of our top college football ATS picks for Week 4, including NCAA Football betting predictions for some of the top games scheduled for the upcoming weekend.

Here Are the Top College Football Week 4 ATS Betting Picks

Kent State at #1 Alabama, Saturday, September 24

Pick: Ken State (+43)
LETDOWN ALERT! The Crimson Tide (3-0 SU, 2-1 ATS) are flying high and getting tons of praise as potential repeat national contenders after beating Ole Miss last week. But as has been the case for Alabama after big wins, a letdown could easily be in the offing in the next game, as players get a bit complacent with their game. Case-and- point, after beating #20 Wisconsin last seaon, the Tide won by just 27 vs. Middle Tennessee. Similar tame-scoring (but winning efforts) were evident after victories overt #8 Georgia, #9 Texas A&M, and #2 LSU in the course of the 2015 regular-season campaign. More than that, Kent State is coming into this game full of morale after ending a seven-game losing streak last week with a 27-7 win over FCS Monmouth. We are not crazy to suggest an outright upset from the Golden Flashes, but the combination of Kent State’s morale and the likelihood of Bama dialing down its tempo should allow the visitors a chance to cover the spread in this game.

#3 Louisville (-25.5) at Marshall, Saturday, September 24

Pick: Louisville (-25.5)
We have been talking about Lamar Jackson as a Heisman trophy hot-shot since Week 1 and how the Cardinals are for real in their playoff bid. And not to brag, but we even rightfully predicted that the Cards would upset the Seminoles in our bold week 3 NCAAF picks, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that we are high on them in this week’s NCAA Football lines vs. the Thundering Herd. Playing Clemson in Week 5 means the Cards will have a look-ahead factor that may see Jackson and some starters rested in the second half, and Marshall’s 21-2 home record in its last 23 home games means that the Thundering Herd will be strong dogs in this matchup. But last I checked, the Cardinals had no problem covering the spread as 17-point favorites in Syracuse (a game they won 62-28) ahead of last week’s meeting against Florida State, so doing the same at Marshall shouldn’t be a biggie. More importantly, there is more to Louisville than Jackson and its starters; the Cardinals have a No. 1-ranked scoring offense and a top-10 defense that includes a solid running game and efficient backups that can handle their own just fine in the absence of starters, as we saw in Week 1 and Week 2. Add to the fact that the Thundering Herd (as 17.5-point favorites) were trounced 65-38 AT HOME by Akron last week, we strongly believe that the Cardinals will be a solid value for you as three touchdowns favs over the disarrayed Marshall team this week.

#13 Florida State at South Florida, Saturday, September 24

Pick: Florida State (-6)
After getting bludgeoned at Louisville last week, the Seminoles will be out for blood this week, and that should mean good betting value on FSU this weekend when they take on the South Florida. Besides the revenge factor, the Seminoles are absolutely loaded on both sides of the ball, which should give them a huge advantage over the Bulls. On top of that, the Seminoles have held the Bulls to 17-points or less in their last three meetings, and after playing poorly in defense last week, you can be sure that the Noles will be working a lot on their defense ahead of the meeting against the Bulls, who are scoring a hair under 50 points per game this season. The Bulls will get their points and make a game out of this clash, but FSU’s superiority should show down the stretch, leading to a comfy win plus cover for the visitors.

#19 Florida at #14 Tennessee (-6.5), Saturday, September 24

Pick: Florida (+6.5)
The Volunteers have started their season 3-0, but they have been far from convincing in any of those three games, a key reason why they are just 1-2 ATS on the year. Considering that those three games came against subpar opponents in Appalachian State, V-Tech and Ohio; it is quite telling that many pundits and bettors still trust them to beat Florida this week, and do so by more than a touchdown. Yes, the absence of starting quarterback Luke Del Rio, who’s been ruled out of the Saturday’s game with a left knee injury, will be a big blow for the Gators. But it’s not like the Vols will be all healthy; already starting CB Cam Sutton, LB Darrin Kirkland Jr. and backup LB Quart’e Sapp have been confirmed out of Tennessee’s lineup for Saturday. Florida’s backup QB Austin Appleby is not the best of replacements, at least going by the statistics he posted at Purdue, but he will be getting solid support from the Gators’ running game and a nation-best defense that is allowing just 4.7 PPG this season. In essence, that’s the reason why there has been a strong reverse line movement in this game (from -8 to -7.5 or lower in some books), indicating that sharp money is on the Gators even with Del Rio out. Combine that with the fact that Florida has won the last 11 meetings vs. Tennessee, we definitely side with the sharp money, recommending Florida to at least keep the game close to cover the spread, if not deliver an outright upset over the overhyped Volunteers.

Highlight Trio Of Week 4 Top College Football ATS Picks

If you’re ready for some top ATS picks for Week 4 of the 2016 college football season, then you’re in luck! Thanks to the trio of college football expert picks that you’re about to get, you’re going to have a fantastic chance to cash in not once or twice, but a whopping three times. Okay, with that said, let’s get started.

Analyzing The Highlight Trio Of Week 4 Top College Football ATS Picks

No. 12 Georgia at No. 23 Ole Miss

When: 12:00 PM ET, Saturday, September 24, 2016
Where: Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, Oxford, Mississippi
TV: ESPN
NCAAF Odds: Ole Miss -7

Analysis:
Georgia Bulldogs may be unbeaten this season and they may also be 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, but for me, Ole Miss is far and away the better – and far more explosive tem in this Week 4 SEC showdown. The Bulldogs have looked mostly pedestrian this season and narrowly avoided a huge upset loss a week ago by squeaking past tiny Nicholls State 26-24 despite being a whopping 52.5-point home favorite.

Not only has Ole Miss won 11 of their last 16 games overall, but the Rebels are also 4-2 ATS in their last 6 games. I say the Bulldogs suffer their first loss of the season while failing to cover the spread.

My Pick: Ole Miss 35 Georgia 24

No. 13 Florida State at South Florida

When: 12:00 PM ET, Saturday, September 24, 2016
Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida
TV: ABC
NCAAF Odds: Florida State -7

Analysis:
I know South Florida is playing excellent football right now having scored at least 45 points in all three of their games so far, but I’ll be completely stunned if Florida State doesn’t bounce back in a big way to get the SU win and ATS cover. Not only are the Seminoles 6-3 ATS in their last nine games, but Florida State has also won 18 of their last 22 road games outright.

I know South Florida is 7-1 ATS in its last eight games, but the Bulls are facing the Seminoles at the worst time possible!

My Pick: Florida State 42 South Florida 31

No. 17 Arkansas at No. 10 Texas A&M

When: 9:00 PM ET, Saturday, September 24, 2016
Where: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas
NCAAF Odds: Texas A&M -6

Analysis:
For me, Texas A&M Aggies is the easy pick to win and cover the college football betting line against an Arkansas team that has beaten up on three inferior opponents coming into this contest. While Arkansas has gone 4-1 ATS in its last 5 games and 5-2 ATS in their last seven games against Texas A&M, the Aggies are 4-2 ATS in its last six games and now holds the edge in all three phases of the game.

My Pick: Texas A&M 30 Arkansas 20
