Why bet on the Michigan Wolverines?
The big question that Michigan needs to answer this weekend is if they are good enough to bounce back from what was a very poor performance in a 14-10 loss to the Michigan State Spartans. Even though Michigan had won their opening 4 games prior to that slip, you got the sense that a loss was coming. The Wolverines have not been particularly effective on the offensive side of the football all season, and it has been their defense that has been doing all the stellar work. This meeting with Indiana would appear to be the perfect tonic for getting over a loss, especially when you consider how much they have dominated the Hoosiers over the years. Over the last 10 meetings, the Wolverines have beaten Indiana by an average of 16 points per game, which would suggest that the 7-point spread here is a bit of a bargain. Michigan is 9-3 SU in their last 12 road games and ae 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games away from home.Team Statistics

Why bet on the Indiana Hoosiers?
While Indiana is coming into this one with a 3-2 record, it should be noted that their wins have come against teams that they would be expected to beat. They have not fared so well in the losses, both of which came against ranked opponents. Perhaps more importantly, they were not particularly competitive in those games. The Hoosiers started the season with a 49-21 thumping at the hands of the Ohio State Buckeyes before getting pounded 45-14 by the Penn State Nittany Lions in Week 4. They were able to bounce back from each of those big losses with a win, proving that they are a confident bunch, although just not talented enough to hang with the big boys. As mention earlier, Indiana has lost 20-straight to the Michigan Wolverines, and while streaks are made to be broken, it’s tough to imagine it happening this weekend. It certainly doesn’t help that the Hoosiers are just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games at home.Team Statistics
