With a move to the Big 12, this could be a breakout year for the Utah Utes, who I believe have a shot at winning the conference, especially if QB Cam Rising can bounce back from a brutal injury. I think he can. Utah Utes OVER 9 ½.
The Duke Blue Devils might be better known for their work on the hard court, but I think they are worth a bet on the total, too.
A new head coach and a strong returning defense could easily make this a decent season. Duke Blue Devils OVER 5 ½.
The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors finished last season with 5 wins, and their total for this season is set at the same number.
This team seemed to put it together late last season, winning 4 of their last 5, so expect some carryover. Hawaii Rainbow Warriors OVER 5.
^Play The UNDER
Let’s start things out with what could be a controversial UNDER pick.
The Georgia Bulldogs are easily one of the best teams in the nation, but they have committed to an absolutely brutal schedule. Georgia Bulldogs UNDER 10 ½.
The Wisconsin Badgers are another team that has a tough schedule, filled with tricky road trips.
This is a team that has been consistently solid, but I think they are going to have a tough time of it this season. Wisconsin Badgers UNDER 7.
The Colorado Buffaloes were must see TV last season under new head coach Deion Sanders, but after a quick start, things went off the rails quickly.
This team has issues on both sides of the ball this season. Colorado Buffaloes UNDER 5 ½.
The Group of Five teams have some real hope this season now that there are 12 playoff spots.
A new head coach and a new QB could be too much in one season for Tulane, which could lead to a drop off. Tulane Green Wave UNDER 8.
There will be few teams who log as many miles as the UCLA Bruins this season, with their new head coach coming in with a ton of holes to plug.
This could be a long, miserable season. UCLA Bruins UNDER 5.
