The Badgers particularly had an amazing second half, outscoring Nebraska 16-7 to record the thrilling win. The Badgers ground game, which is averaging 164.3 yards per game on the season, also had a good shift of work in last week’s performance. Just about the only source of offense in the team was Danny Anthrop, who registered five receptions for 59 yards, which wasn’t that game-changing in the long run anyway. On the opposite side of the ball, the Boilermakers are allowing 34.3 PPG and a whopping 429.2 yards per game. However, there are areas where the defense measures well against the Badgers. For example, the pass defense forces the opponents to struggle in earning yardages, as it is allowing just 10.3 yards per pass. Even so, this defense will have its hands full, as it will be facing Big 10’s second-leading passer in Stave, who has tallied 1,386 yards passing and 8 TDs this season. Added to the fact that the Boilermakers could be shorthanded because Wyatt Cook and Austin Appleby are questionable with injuries, this game doesn’t look that pretty for the visitors.
