The 2022 T20 World Cup is well and truly underway, with more than half of the Super 12 matches played already over a frantic ten days of cricket.

Super 12 Matches at T20 World Cup 2022
Eleven matches remain in this year’s T20 World Cup Super 12 phase, and with all teams but one still mathematically in the running for a semifinal spot, expect some hotly contested clashes:

- England vs. New Zealand
- Zimbabwe vs. Netherlands
- India vs. Bangladesh
- Pakistan vs. South Africa
- New Zealand vs. Ireland
- Australia vs. Afghanistan

- Pakistan vs. Bangladesh
- India vs. Zimbabwe
While almost all of these matches could be game-changers in terms of the final standings at this T20 World Cup 2022, we preview two of the matches below, which are ones to watch this week and could be the best to bet on.
New Zealand vs England (Tuesday, Nov 1)
This grudge match between New Zealand and England tomorrow is shaping up as the defining clash in Group 1.
Win, and New Zealand will be assured of a semifinal berth and virtually assured of qualification in top spot. Lose, and New Zealand would be required to win against Ireland to make the semifinals.
A New Zealand win would also blow Group 1 wide open for qualification in second spot by Australia and Sri Lanka. Hosts Australia would be in prime position to qualify with five points from four games, while Sri Lanka would also fancy themselves a chance if they were able to upset England in their final clash.
England would be hoping to win, however, and solidify their chances at claiming a semifinal spot. An English win would leave New Zealand, Australia, and England all on five-point with one match to play.
Despite New Zealand’s fine form across their two games so far, England are favorites to come away with the win, with a moneyline of -175 to +138.
Pakistan vs South Africa (Thursday, Nov 3)
Similar to New Zealand vs. England, Pakistan vs. South Africa is shaping up as a group-defining match.
Pakistan have been desperately unlucky to only hold two points in Group 2, having lost both of their first two matches by one run. If they are to have any chance of making the semifinals, they will need to upset South Africa, win their final match against Bangladesh, and count on either Netherlands, Bangladesh, or Zimbabwe to pull off an upset against India or South Africa in their remaining matches.
South Africa, on the other hand, will be assured of qualification if they are to defeat Pakistan.
Bookies have not released odds for this clash yet, but expect South Africa to be narrow favorites.
