After Monday’s Players Championship 15, the same dart players throw down in the second tournament of the two-day festival, the Players Championship 16. Like on Monday, Dave Chisnall will step to the line the top seed to win the PC 16. Joining Chisnall in the PDC Plyers Championship 16 field is 2023 World Championship winner Michael Smith.

Gerwyn Price will also participate. So will Dirk Van Duijvenbode and PDC Players Championship 14 winner Damon Heta.

Darts is a difficult game to predict. Michael Smith and Gerwyn Price, if they’re at the top of their games, should end up in the final four. So should Duijvenbode, who already has won 3 Players Championship titles this year.

Top +2000 to +4000 Odds Plays to win the PDC World Championship

The 2024 PDC World Championship is the top prize. Check out picks for dart players in odds ranges of +2000 to +4000.

Fist Pick: Dave Chisnall +3400

Chisnall didn’t have a great 2023 PDC World Championship tournament. The twelfth ranked player in the world beat Andrew Gilding in the second round, but couldn’t get by Steve Bunting in the third.

In 2021, Chisnall made it all the way to the PDC World Championship semifinals. This year, Chisnall could repeat the 2021 run. So far in 2023, Chisnall has a finals second place at the Czech Darts Open, and has won the Baltic Sea Darts Open and the Dutch Darts Championship.

Second Pick: Dirk Van Duijvenbode +2900

Duijvenbode’s best finish at the World Championship has been the quarterfinals. Dirk accomplished the feat in 2021.

In 2023, Duijvenbode finished runner-up at the PDC Pro Tour and the European Darts Matchplay. The second choice in this odds range lost in the quarterfinals at the Belgian Darts Open.

Watch to see how Duijvenbode performs on Monday and Tuesday. If he throws well, he too could move up in the rankings.

Third Pick: Gary Anderson +3200

Anderson is a legit contender because he’s won the PDC World Championship in the past. The Scottish dart player took home the title in 2015 and 2016.

His 2023 form is non-existent. But there’s plenty of months before the World Championship. So Anderson could get it together in time to pose a threat to the favorites.

Fourth Pick: Nathan Aspinall +4000

The Asp as he’s called, has made it to four quarterfinals this year: the Belgian Darts Open, the Czech Darts Open, the European Darts Grand Prix, and the European Darts Matchplay.

Aspinall’s best finish at the PDC World Championships was the semifinals in 2019 and 2020. The odds make Aspinall an attractive choice. Consider if you believe he has a better than 40-to-1 shot of finally getting the PDC WC trophy.
