For the second straight year, the Professional Darts Corporation has a 1-day match play tournament for women’s darts. The tournament comprises of only eight players, which is how the PDC can run the entire tournament in a single day. Beau Greaves will enter the tournament a solid -150 favorite. Mikuru Suzuki is at +700 and Fallon Sherrock is at +450.

2023 PDC Darts Women’s World Matchplay Picks
Top Pick: Fallon Sherrock +450
In last year’s inaugural PDC Women’s World Matchplay tournament, Fallon Sherrock took the top prize. Sherrock bested Katie Sheldon in the quarter-finals and Lorraine Winstanley in the semi-finals.
Then in the finals, Sherrock beat the Netherland’s Aileen de Graaf 6-3. For sure, Sherrock deserves a look to make it 2 straight PDC Women’s World Matchplay titles.
This season, Sherrock has sat on the bench, waiting for this tournament. If Sherrock has her game face on, she’ll be difficult to beat. Also, she’s offering much better odds than the outright chalk, Beau Greaves.
PDC World Matchplay Top Pick: Mikuru Suzuki | Bet Fallon Sherrock to Win

Second Choice: Beau Greaves -150
Speaking of Greaves, it’s going to be difficult for any of her opponents to beat her. Greaves won the BDO/WDF World Championship, the World Masters, the Australian Open, and the Dutch Open in 2022.
In 2023, Greaves finished runner up to Aileen De Graf at the Dutch Open. Greaves is just 19, which means she’s a darts phenom. If the odds were higher, she’d be our top pick.
But at -150, we have to go with a player with a proven record in this event and that’s Fallon Sherrock.
PDC World Matchplay Second Pick: Mikuru Suzuki | Bet Beau Greaves to Win

Third Choice: Mikuru Suzuki +700
Suzuki is a 2-time BDO/WDF World Champion. In 2019, Suzuki beat Fallon Sherrock in the quarters, Maria O’Brien in the semis, and Lorraine Winstanley in the finals.
The fact Suzuki has a victory over Sherrock in 2019 can’t be overlooked. If the two knock heads on Sunday, Mikuru already knows she can beat Sherrock.
Suzuki repeated as the BDO/WDF World Champion in 2020. Mikuru knocked off Beau Greaves in the semifinals when Beau was even younger. Then in the finals, Suzuki beat Lisa Ashton.
Mikuru Suzuki is yet another darts player that we must take seriously to win the title. If the odds difference is enough to put her on top of Sherrock, go for it.

Top Underdog Pick: Aileen de Graaf +2500
The odds on Graaf make her playable. Aileen almost won this event last year, falling to Fallon Sherrock, our top pick.
Her past form suggests there’s a chance she could make another finals run. Graaf won the Dutch Open this year. So she’s throwing well. Give the underdog a chance.
