League of Legends – LCK 2019 Spring

Saturday, Feb. 16

  • Gen.G vs SK Telecom T1

After a couple of massive wins over Jin Air Green Wings and KT Rolster, Gen.G fell backward with a loss to KingZone Dragon X. Losing to KZDX is nothing to be ashamed of. KingZone is 6-0 in 6 matches as of Feb. 10.

Gen.G might have a shot versus SK Telecom, a 4-2 squad, even though they’ve only won 2 matches so far this season. If Gen.G does win, they’ll pay their backers handsomely. Early odds have them a 4/1 underdog.

Although SK Telecom has played better this season, Gen.G’s worth a look. They can pull off the upset.

eSports Betting Pick: Gen.G

  • Jin Air Green Wings vs Damwon Gaming

As is usually the case, Jin Air Green Wings is already in last place in the Lol Champions Korea Standings. JAGW has lost all 6 of their matches this season.

But, Damwon only has 2 wins. Does that mean Jin Air has a shot on Saturday? Maybe. After starting the season with 2 wins, Damwon has lost 4 in a row to Griffin, SK Telecom, Sandbox, and KingZone Dragon X.

JAGW might catch Damwon at the perfect time. Like Gen.G, they can pull off the upset.

eSports Betting Pick: Jin Air Green Wings

Sunday, Feb. 17

  • Griffin vs Afreeca Freecs

As of Feb. 10, Griffin’s the only undefeated team in League of Legends Champions Korea. They’ve gone 6-0 in their first 6 matches.

At 2-4, Afreeca Freecs remains in the hunt, but they’re going to have trouble against Griffin. Griffin’s beaten KDX, Hanwha, Damwon, SK Telecom, and Sandbox already this season. That’s 5 wins over 5 contenders. They should handle Afreeca Freecs.

eSports Betting Pick: Griffin

  • Sandbox Gaming vs KT Rolster

Sandbox’s lone loss was to Griffin. They’ve played lights out since the 2019 Champions Korea season started, but they could have trouble versus traditionally stout KT Rolster.

The Rolster’s have yet to get going. They will eventually, though, and when they do, they could string together, 4, 5, 6, maybe even 7 wins in a row. The outfit is that talented. They’ll offer odds on Sunday. Consider taking the odds because soon KT Rolster will start winning matches, which means great odds on them fly out the window.
