Top eSports Betting Picks of the Week – April 29th Edition

Written by on April 29, 2019

Okay eSports betting buffs, with the start of a new week at hand, it’s time for another round of value-packed eSports picks of the Week. After a solid 2-1 week on three Stage 2, Week 4 Overwatch matchups last weekend, I’m coming back to the wildly popular game this week for another trio of picks that I believe are all offering a ton of value. Now, let’s find out who’s in action for Overwatch betting.

Top eSports Betting Picks of the Week – April 29th

Dallas Fuel (4-2) vs. Florida Mayhem (0-6)

  • When: Thursday, May 2 at 7:30 PM

I had the Los Angeles Valiant picking up a hard-fought win last week, but Dallas upset L.A. 4-0 and now they look like a great pick to get past a Florida Mayhem squad is not only 0-6 this stage, but 1-12 in matches. The Mayhem made a bunch of changes to their roster this season, but they clearly haven’t been working and now Dallas is looking to improve on their 8-5 record in matches.

Florida is -13 in differential and sitting in last place without any hope to accomplish much of anything at all this stage. Back the Dallas Fuel to stay hot by getting the dominant win as Dylan ‘Akm’ Bignet leads the way.

eSports Betting Pick: Dallas 4 Florida 0

Boston Uprising (2-3) vs. Los Angeles Gladiators (6-0)

  • When: Friday, May 3 at 7:30 PM

Despite some impressive play from Minseok ‘AimGod’ Kwon, Boston has gone an uninspiring 2-3 in five games this stage including their humbling 4-0 loss to London the last time out. The league-leading Gladiators have gone a perfect 6-0 this stage while compiling a blistering 18-6-1 mark in all maps. Boston’s gone 8-15 in maps and sits in 12th place in the standings. While both teams could use a big win here, I love L.A.’s handful of equally talented players and more so, their ability to play together. I just don’t see this one being close at all with the Gladiators having a ton to play for and Boston just playing out the string.

eSports Betting Pick: L.A. Gladiators 4 Boston 0

London Spitfire (5-1) vs. Houston Outlaws (0-5)

  • When: Saturday, May 24 at 2:00 PM

London came through for me in a big way last weekend by taking out Paris Eternal 4-0 I now, the Spitfire look like they’re going to cakewalk all over a Houston team that looks borderline incompetent. London has gone 17-5-2 in maps (+12) while Houston has gone 2-17-1 (-15) while residing in 19th place, one spot in front of last place Florida. You know, I don;t think it takes a rocket scientist to see that one, nearly unbeaten team (London) in this match has almost no chance of losing to a winless team (Houston). Keep it simple here and back the red-hot Spitfire for the second straight week!

eSports Betting Pick: London 4 Houston 0
