League of Legends – LPL 2019 Spring

Wednesday, Jan. 16

  • Suning vs Vici

Suning’s first battle in League of Legends Pro League turned out to be a loss. The match took place against Topsports on Sep. 9. Topsports beat Suning 3:2. Suning has decent history against Vici, though. Last year on August 24, they took Vici down 2:0. That’s a sign they could be strong against Vici on Wednesday.

Vici beat Bilibili 2:1 in their final August match. Before that, though, they had lost 4 in a row. That means Vici probably isn’t ready for what Suning should bring to this.

eSports Betting Pick: Suning

  • Invictus vs OMG

One of the top teams in Lol Pro League China, Invictus figures to show up as a massive favorite over OMG. Invictus went 3-0 in the World Championships, taking down KT Rolster 3:2, and G2 eSports and Fnatic both 3:0. They beat Topsports 2:0 in their first 2019 Lol Pro League match.

OMG is on a 4 match losing streak: Rogue, Edward, Snake, and Topsports. They have only a small chance of beating Invictus on Wednesday. Although Invictus should be heavily favored, they’re not worth playing against.

eSports Betting Pick: Invictus

Friday, Jan. 18

  • Edward vs Snake

Snake hasn’t played since August. That’s what happens when you don’t qualify for the League of Legends World Championships. In the Lol Pro League China 2018, Snake ended their season losing 4 straight. Their fourth loss was to Edward 2:1.

Edward didn’t show up in the World Championships, but they battled a much higher level opponent. There’s no shame in losing to KT Rolster, Team Liquid and Fnatic. Edward Gaming even beat the Rolsters in a match at the WC. Going chalky again.

eSports Betting Pick: Edward

Saturday, Jan. 19

  • JD vs Rogue

JD looks like a standout over Rogue in this Saturday match. They battled all the way to September in League of Legends Pro League China 2018, almost qualifying for the Lol World Championships.

Rogue is on a 5 match losing streak. FunPlus beat them 2:0 in their first LPL 2019 match. Unless Rogue has changed something from the loss to this, or JD just doesn’t show up with it’s best, JD looks like the team to back.

eSports Betting Pick: JD
