CBLOL 2019
- Flamengo vs KaBum
Although Flamengo hasn’t battled since September, their form is much better than KaBum’s. Flamengo had gone 4-0 until meeting KaBum, though. KaBum beat Flamengo 3-2. Flamengo could be in a serious disadvantage in this.
They often battle on the Brazil circuit while KaBum took on Cloud9 twice at the World Championships in October. KaBum should benefit from the class relief. They’ll beat Flamengo.
eSports Betting Pick: KaBum
- Vivo vs Uppercut
You won’t find much info on Uppercut because they used to be Ilha da Macacada (IDM) Gaming before becoming Uppercut. In fact, the name Uppercut just came about this past Dec. 13 when they changed their name from IDM Gaming. No matter the name, they’ve still got some decent players like Fitz, Anyy, and Damage.
Even so, Vivo beat IDM 3:0 back on August 11. The name change and some of the roster moves could help the new team. Vivo’s more stable, though. They’ll hand Uppercut a loss in their first match.
eSports Betting Pick: Vivo
- Pro Gaming vs Redemption
Pro Gaming ended CBLOL 2018 on a losing note. They dropped a match 1:2 to IDM before losing 0:2 to KaBum. Pro Gaming must turn their late summer form around to have any shot against Redemption on Saturday. If you count the loss to INTZ in July, Pro Gaming heads to the new season on an 0-3 streak.
Although Pro Gaming hasn’t played their best in their last few matches, they take on a team in Redemption that they’ll have a shot to beat on January 12. Redemption has already gone through major roster changes. One thing to note is that the team did win the BRCC 2018 Winter Playoffs this past August over Pain.
Redemption’s the team to back.
eSports Betting Pick: Redemption
- INTZ vs CNB
Neither one of these teams has really stepped it up in recent battles. INTZ hasn’t had an Lol fight since losing 1:2 to former Uppercut, IDM, in August. CNB is on a 1-4 slide in their last 5. Which team takes it in a battle that doesn’t provide a ton of information?
When odds are set, CNB should be a 3 to 1 underdog against INTZ. At those odds, they’re definitely worth a look because we’re not sure if INTZ comes out with their best on Saturday. CNB gets the nod.
eSports Betting Pick: CNB
