Top eSports Betting Picks for the Week – July 15th Edition

League of Legends Champions Korea

Saturday, July 20

  • Griffin / Damwon

Griffin and Damwon are both tied in second place with KingZone Dragon X. All three teams have a 7-3 straight up record. Griffin hasn’t played well in their last couple of Champions Korea matches. They lost to both Gen.G and Afreeca Freecs by an 0:2 score.

Damwon has played much better in their last two matches. They beat Sandbox 2:0 before losing 1:2 to KingZone Dragon X. This will be a competitive match, but Damwon is in better form right now. They’re the team to back.

eSports Betting Pick: Damwon

  • G /KingZone Dragon X

At 6-4 straight up, Gen.G is only two matches out of first place on the Champions Korea Standings. Gen.G. could make a significant move with a victory over second place squad KDX on Saturday.

They go into this match on the upswing. They beat Griffin 2:0 and then followed up that impressive victory with a 2:0 win over Hanwha Life. But, in the last head-to-head, KingZone Dragon X had no trouble taking down Gen.G.

Not only that, but KDX has won 5 in a row. 3 of the 5 wins happened in the Rift Rivals where they beat FunPlus, Mad, and Invictus. KDX is on a roll. Gen.G won’t end that roll.

eSports Betting Pick: KingZone Dragon X

Sunday, July 21

  • Jin Air Green Wings / Afreeca Freecs

JAGW continues to sit at the bottom of the Champions Korea Standings. They’re an awful 0-10. Will they win their first match of the summer season versus Afreeca Freecs? That’s not likely.

The Freecs are on a 3 match winning streak. They beat KT Rolster 2:0, Jin Air Green Wings 2:0, and Griffin 2:1. The odds shouldn’t be great on Afreeca Freecs. However, this should be free money.

eSports Betting Pick: Afreeca Freecs

  • Hanwha Life / Sandbox

Hanwha rests towards the bottom of the standings. They have a 2-8 SU record in Champions Korea play. Sandbox is at the top of the standings. It’s hard to see Sandbox giving up fist place. Sandbox is 4-1 in their last 5. The only loss happened versus Damwon.

Hanwha is 0-4 in their last 4. They’ve lost to KDX, Damwon, SK Telecom, and Gen.G. Hanwha will battle Sandbox tough, but the chalk should prevail.

eSports Betting Pick: Sandbox
