With the 2020 Counter Strike: Go Blast Rising Final getting underway on Friday, May 22, it’s time to find out which team will hoist this season’s championship and which one will be left standing at the alter like a jilted bride. Will the favored HAVU be able to take care of business in the finals or will underdog EndPoint manage to pull off the huge upset? Let’s find out right now, along with their Counter Strike odds.
Counter Strike Blast Rising Final
EndPoint (3.07) vs. HAVU (1.35)
EndPoint has won five straight including a 2:0 win over Nordavind in the semifinals and an identical 2:0 win over SG.pro in the quarterfinals. HAVU has won two straight and six of their last eight including a 2:0 shutout win over Alternate aTTaX in the semis and an identical 2:0 win over Japaleno in the quarterfinal round.
Prediction
When it comes to the head-to-head meetings between these two rivals, EndPoint picked up a hard-fought 2:1 win the last time they met at ESEA MDL Seasons 29 on January 9, 2019. Prior to that however, HAVU recorded a 2:0 win at Thunderpick Invitational #3 on September, 30, 2018 while recording another 2:0 win at Thunderpick Invitational #3 on September 11, 2018.
For this finals showdown, I’m feeling like EndPoint is primed to pull off the huge championship upset, just based on their recent play and that of HAVU’s as well. Prior to winning their last two, HAVU had dropped two straight. I love the fact that EndPoint is red-hot having won five straight while recording consecutive shutouts in their last two matches. HAVU might be the favorite, but I’m going with the streaking EndPoint for the upset!
Pick: HAVU
