Panthers vs Esport Rhein-Neckar

  • Panthers -140
  • Esport Rhein-Neckar -102

Panthers Gaming Academy has lost eight of their last dozen matchups although they managed to get past Euronics Gaming 19-17 the last time out. Esport Rhein-Neckar, better known as team ERN has gone an identical 4-8 over their last 12 matches, including one 16-4 blowout loss against Planetkey Dynamics and a less emphatic 19-16 loss to Planetkey. While Panthers Gaming has managed to win 157 rounds along the way while losing 177 (-20), ERN is sitting at a pitiful -39 by recording just 133 round wins while dropping 172.

Prediction

With two almost equally awful teams going at it in a pair of clashes on Tuesday, my best prediction says these two championship longshots are going to split the day evenly. ERN could use the sweep as they sit in fourth place in Group A, just ahead of the Panthers who are on the line to get booted along with Planetkey.

I would go with ERN to get the swep, but they’ve been so wildlu inconsistent this spring that I can’t in good conscience bring encourage anyone to back either of these underachieving teams for the ‘daily double’ victory. ERN wins the opener before Panthers Gaming gets a small measure of revenge, mostly out of sheer desperation.

Pick: Split
