eSports Betting: Dota 2 BTS PRO Series Southeast June 10th Matches

Written by on June 9, 2020

One of the great things about wagering on eSports is that there always seems to be a tournament going on somewhere in the world. There are also several different games to choose from, including sports and online battle arena type games. In short, there really is something for every gamer who likes to wager on the outcome of games. Today, we are going to focus on the Beyond the Summit (BTS) PRO Series for Dota 2. This tournament features 10 invited teams from the Southeast Asia region, all battling it out for a $50,000 prize pool. All matches in the round robin stage are best of 2, so we can see ties, with the top 4 teams moving into the upper bracket, while team 5 through 8 go into the loser’s bracket. Let’s take a look at the games on tap for Wednesday, June 10, along with their Dota 2 odds.

Dota 2 BTS PRO Series Southeast June 10th Matches

Geek Fam Vs Execration

It is going to be a busy day for Geek Fam, as they will have back to back games right at the start of the June 10 schedule. They are unbeaten on the season, winning 2 and drawing 3 of their first 5 games. They are, though, coming off a big win over Team Adroit, which currently has them sitting in 3rd. After a winning start to the season, Execration has fallen into a losing skid and are now sitting at 1-0-3 on the season. That still has them in a playoff spot in the Dota 2 tournament, but it won’t last if they continue to lose, which I think they will here.

Geek Fam Vs T1

If Geek Fam can come away with the win in their opening game of the day, which I think they will, they could essentially be looking at the top spot with another win here. This may prove to be a bit of a trickier matchup for them, though, as T1 are sitting just outside the top 4 with a 1-1-2 record. T1 are coming into this one on the heels of a win over Cignal, but I think we might be looking at a stalemate here, which is why I am going with the tie.

T1 Vs Neon Esports

This is a tougher one to call, simply because we really haven’t seen enough of Neon Esports to get a clear idea of how they might do against this level of competition. They have only played a single game to this point, with that one ending in a 1-1 tie with Reality Rift, who are wallowing near the bottom of the 10-team league. T1 are right on the edge of the top 4 with a 1-1-2 record, although that will be different after their game with Geek Fam. I am going with T1 to get the win here.

Cignal Ultra Vs Reality Rift

The two teams that finish at the bottom of the league after the round robin will be automatically eliminated, so this is a huge game for both of these teams. Cignal and Reality are both in precarious positions at the moment and both could use a win, or at least a tie. Neither of them has picked up a win yet, but Reality Rift at least have a pair of ties, which is keeping them in the top 8. Cignal Ultra are 0-0-3 at the moment and I think they will lose again in this one.
