MyBookie.ag returns with another set of League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) 2021 Spring betting tips and predictions. Today, we focus on the opening two fixtures of Week 6, featuring Cloud9, Counter Logic Gaming, Evil Geniuses, and TSM. Let’s jump right into action so you can bet against their League of Legends odds.

LoL LCS 2021 Spring Betting Preview for Friday, March 12th Matches

Cloud9 Vs Counter Logic gaming – Friday, March 12 – 15:00 PST

These two teams will end the season on the opposite side of the league table. While Cloud9 became the first team in the league to lock in a spot in the Mid-Season Showdown, Counter Logic Gaming were unfortunately unable to bounce back following a poor start of the season and will finish the Spring split inside the bottom-four.

Regardless of CLG’s underwhelming placement, they’ve been playing significantly better of late and would have arguably finished inside the top-six had they performed the way they’re now from the get-go. That said, CLG had to deal with visa issues for the majority of the split, so it’s not fair to criticize them too much for going 2-10 in weeks 1-4.

The betting odds suggest C9 should win this match more times than not, which is fair, however, we don’t believe CLG will just roll over and die. They have nothing more to lose, which will at least help them to play without any pressure – and considering they’ve beaten Team Liquid last weekend, CLG are definitely good enough to cause some damage to C9 as well.

A lot will have to go right for CLG to win here, and we don’t feel comfortable predicting they can. That said, they should be at least capable of keeping this match close and interesting. Alternatively, you can pick CLG to keep this match within ten kills.

Prediction: Over 24.5 kills

Prediction: Counter Logic Gaming +10.5 kills

TSM Vs Evil Geniuses – Friday, March 12 – 16:00 PST

It’s impossible not to be impressed with TSM’s improvement, and even though they’re not as good as Cloud9 and Team Liquid, TSM have shown enough for us to believe they are at least the third-best team in the league – with the potential to defeat even TL and C9 in a best-of-five series.

Evil Geniuses, on the other side, are a team you don’t know where to place. Since there is a massive gap between the top and bottom teams in the LCS, they are undeniably a top-six team, but that doesn’t mean much in the greater picture, as they’re far less reliable than most of the team in the upper part of the table.

Evil Geniuses have the individual talent to compete with anyone, but they’re also very volatile, unpredictable, and at times way too aggressive for their own good. They’re the type of team that can defeat anyone just as easily as they can lose to anyone, making them a team that is worth betting on as an underdog but not exactly an appealing option when they’re priced as the favorites.

Bookmakers have EG priced at around 2.10/+110 for this match, which seems about fair and is not nearly high enough for us to take a shot with them. TSM have been playing significantly better than EG and are on top of that also far more consistent.

We don’t expect any surprises here. Take TSM to win their 11th match of the season and secure their spot at the Mid-Season Showdown.

Prediction: TSM to win
