Written by on June 26, 2020

There are currently 12 major leagues operating under the League of Legends banner, all of which are separated by region. Those leagues are no entering into their Summer season, but there is a lot more than prize money at stake this time around. The winners of the individual leagues are looking at a spot in the 2020 World Championships, so going all the way this season comes with an absolutely massive reward. For this piece, we are turning our attention to the LCK, which is the Korean League of Legends organization. There are 10 teams in this league, with the top 5 moving on to the playoffs at the end of the regular season. The teams play each other twice over the course of the season, which each of the matches decided by a best of 3. There are just 2 games on the schedule for Saturday, so let’s dig into those and take a closer look at the teams involved so you can make your bets against their League of Legends odds.

League of Legends LCK Summer Split June 27th Matches

SeolHaeOne Prince Vs Gen.G

SHO Prince are down near the bottom of the league in 8th, but it is still early going, with just 3 matches in the books. They are sitting with a 1-2 record at the moment and are 3-5 in overall games played. They have had 2 of their 3 matches go the distance, so with a little bit of luck, they might just be able to turn things around. They missed out on the playoffs in the Spring Season, when they were operating under the name of APK Prince, so perhaps this is where they are going to stay as the season progresses. Gen.G have seen their season get off to a winning start, going 2-1 through their first 2 matches of the Summer Season. That is good enough to have them in 5th in the LCK standings, which would mean a spot in the playoffs, but there are still a ton of games to come. They have to be considered one of the favorites this time around, though, as they topped the league with a 14-4 record in Spring, before going all the way to the playoff final and losing. This should be a win for Gen.G.

Kt Rolster Vs DAMWON Gaming

It is altogether too early in the Summer Season to start making wild prediction, but there are a few teams already who have made a start that has them behind the 8-ball. Kt Rolster are not quite in that group, but their 1-2 start to the season is a bit of a problem, especially since they look to be up against here against DAMWON. There is reason to believe they can turn it around, though, as they went 10-8 last season to make the playoffs, although they went out in the opening round. DAMWON are off to a winning start, going 2-1 through their first 3 matches, which has them tied for 3rd in the LCK at the moment. That is about where they were in the Spring Season, making the playoffs with a 9-9 record and heading to the quarterfinals. Ironically enough, it was kt Rolster that they bounced in the opening round of that playoff run. Let’s go with DAMWON Gaming to get the win on Saturday.
