With the 2020 spring season rolling right along in China’s League of Legends Pro League (LPL) and a trio of value-packed matchups going down on Sunday, April 12, let’s find out where the best League of Legends Odds and esports betting value lies in all three pairings.
League Of Legends LPL Weekend Matches
Sunday, April 12 at 2:00 AM ET
- Dominus Esports +165
- Suning -233
Dominus has lost two straight series and four of their last five overall including a crushing 2-1 loss against Bilibili Gaming on April 7. Suning has managed to pick up just two wins over their last five series, but they did manage to snap a three-series slide by shutting down Victory Five 2-0 on April 6. Dominus sits in 16th place in the LPL standings at 3-9 while Suning is in 12th at 5-8.
There’s no need for a really long-winded explanation om why Suning is the pick to get it done in this one. Both teams in this matchup are pretty awful and neither has really been playing better than the other coming into this one. Simply put, take the lesser of two evils in this affair and that’s clearly Suning, though not by much!
League of Legends Pick: Suning 2-1
Sunday, April 12 at 5:00 AM ET
- FunPlus Phoenix -357
- EDward Gaming +245
FunPlus Phoenix has gone an uninspiring 2-3 over their last five series including a 2-1 loss against Vici Gaming Potential on April 10. Edward Gaming has won three straight coming into this affair off a pair of consecutive 2-0 shutout wins against Dominus and LNG on April 3 and April 9 respectively. FunPlus sits in second place in the standings at 9-2 while Edward Gaming is in seventh place at 7-4.
While the odds say FunPlus is the easy pick here, I’m not so sure. While every player on FunPlus Phoenix has a KDA of 3.38 or higher and three players have KDA’s of 5.71 or better. Four Edward Gaming players have a KDA higher than 5.0 including Bot Laner Hope’s league-leading 8.64. I smell an upset brewing here League of Legends esports betting enthusiasts.
League of Legends Pick: EDward Gaming 2-1
Sunday, April 12 at 7:00 AM ET
- Bilibili Gaming +541
- Invictus Gaming -1000
Bilibili has won two of their last three series including a 2-1 win over Dominus Esports on April 7, but Invictus has won three straight and four of their last five series overall, Invictus comes into this affair off a 2-1 win over Royal Never Give Up on April 5 after shutting out both, Victory Five and Suning in their previous two matches. Bilibili sits in 13t place in the LPL standings at 4-8 while Invictus leads the league with a nearly unblemished 10-1 mark that includes a 20-6 record in games.
While Bilibili Mid Laner FoFo has been very solid in posting a 4.19 KDA, he’s the only player on his team with a KDA over 3.24 and that’s just not going to cut it against an Invictus squad that has a pair of legitimate big-time performers in support specialist Southwind and Bot laner Puff. Invictus wins easily here!
League of Legends Pick: Invictus 2-0
