The Gladiators have alternated wins and losses over their lat five matches and come into this affair off a 3-0 shutout loss against San Francisco on April 12. The Valiant are sitting in 17th place in the standings at 2-4 in six matches while going 9-14 in maps (-5). L.A. has lost four of its last five matches including a narrow 3-2 loss to Dallas on April 5.

When it comes to the head-to-head meetings, the Valiant hold a slim 3-2 edge, but the Gladiators have won each of the last two meetings, most recently a 3-1 win on August 24 of 2019. This time around, the Gladiators are the pick to win this ‘Battle of Los Angeles’ meetings once again. The Variant’s 9-14 mark in maps in quite disturbing and their lack of cohesiveness will be their undoing in this affair.
