Looking Ahead at the EuroLeague Bracket
The EuroLeague playoff bracket works differently than the NBA playoffs. After the regular season, the top eight teams advance to the playoffs.
The first round of the playoffs consists of four series of two teams each, who play a best-of-five format against each other. The winners then play in the EuroLeague Final Four. The EuroLeague Final Four is always at a neutral site. This year, the final will be in Kaunas, Lithuania. The semifinal games are on Friday, and the third-place game and championship game are on Sunday of that weekend.
There will be a new EuroLeague champion this year. Turkish club Anadolu Efes Istanbul did not qualify for the playoffs after winning back-to-back EuroLeague championships.
