One More Game

Bo Nix is going to play in this game for the Oregon Ducks. Nix will play his final college game under center before heading into the NFL Draft. Nix was one of the candidates for the Heisman this season with over 4,100 passing yards and 40 touchdowns on the season. He will have Bucky Irving, who was his top running back all season.

Irving rushed for 1,063 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season. The Ducks on the season scored 44.2 points per game, and their passing game ranked 2nd with 342 yards per game. The rushing attack was in the Top 30 with more than 184 per game.

The Oregon Ducks are going to be without one of their top receivers in Troy Franklin, and also running back Noah Whittington. Franklin caught 81 passes for 1,383 yards and 14 touchdowns on the season.  He is heading into the NFL Draft. Whittington was second on the team to Bucky Irving in rushing, he is out with a foot injury.

Flames Looking for 14th Straight

The Liberty Flames will face a tough test to get their 14th straight win. The Flames have scored 38 points or more in seven straight games. On the season, Liberty scored 40.8 points per game. The rushing attack for Liberty ranked at the very top of the College Football statistics.

Quinton Cooley was the man for the Flames during the regular season. Cooley rushed 213 times for 1,322 yards and 16 touchdowns. In the Conference USA title game, Cooley rushed 11 times for 71 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Quarterback Kaidon Salter was good for the Flames this season throwing 31 touchdowns. His top target was CJ Daniels, who caught 7 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown in that same game. The Flames appear to be a team with many of their offensive weapons for their bowl game.

Fun Season Finale

This should be a fun game in Arizona. Oregon should have a bigger crowd, but Liberty has a chance to do something really special. A team like Liberty getting a chance to run the table on the season does not happen very often.  Oregon is going to be missing a lot of tools in this game. But, Bo Nix is enough to win the game.

The problem though, the spread is too many points. Liberty is a team that will go eye to eye with the Ducks. Look for ao ne score game when push comes to shove here. The final bet for this game is the Liberty Flames +17 over the Oregon Ducks!

Why bet on Michigan versus TCU?

For the second straight time, Jim Harbaugh’s crew went undefeated during the regular season. The Wolverines not only blasted rival Ohio State but also beat up Purdue in the Big Ten title match.

Michigan’s defense ranked third in total yards allowed and fifth in points allowed per game. On offense, quarterback JJ McCarthy solidified his starter’s role. Michigan is loaded and is the deserving favorite to beat a lucky TCU side.

Why bet on Michigan versus TCU?

Two words and one name, Max Duggan. The Texas Christian signal-caller is an unbelievable player. Duggan is magic on the field.

He’ll do whatever it takes to lead the TCU Horned Frogs to a win. Max will run the ball, pass it, find the open receiver, whatever is required. It helps Duggan’s game that he can throw to the top wideout in the nation, Kendre Miller.

TCU Horned Frogs Offensive Averages

TCU Horned Frogs vs Michigan Wolverines Final Betting Prediction

Michigan dominated Ohio State, which is one of the reasons so many people believe the Wolverines easily dispatch of the Horned Frogs. But a quick review of Michigan’s contest against their top rivals paints a different picture.

The Buckeyes tried to shut down the Wolverines’ offense. TCU knows they don’t have a great defense. So the Frogs will play bend but don’t break and hope to hold the Maize & Blue to field goals.

Michigan’s defense is great, but it allowed a one-dimensional Ohio State team to pass for 349 yards. Purdue quarterback Aidan O’Connell thew for 366 yards. Duggan should have a lot of success getting the ball to Miller.

The falling spread line suggests the above analysis is correct. TCU may not win this game, but they’re going to make it desperately close. The Frogs are the play against the spread.

NCAAF Fiesta Bowl Pick: TCU Horned Frogs +7.5
