Volunteers Looking to Rebound

Tennessee simply could not stop Cody Schrader, and the Missouri offense last week. The running back from Missouri ran for 205 yards, and caught five passes for 116 yards and scored a touchdown in the win. The loss for the Volunteers was their third overall, and third in SEC play.

The Volunteers offense also could not get the job done. They scored just a lone touchdown. 7 points was their season low from scoring 16 at Florida in Week 3. On the season, Tennessee is scoring 32 points per game, and allowing opponents 20.2 per game. Jaylen Wright has rushed 117 times for more than 845 yards and 3 touchdowns to guide the rushing portion of the offense. The run game is 9th in the nation with 213.3 yards per game.

Squirrel White went over 600 receiving yards on the season in the loss to Missouri. He has two touchdowns on the season.  Tennessee will finish their season at home next week against the Vanderbilt Commodores.

Bowers on the Way Back

Many are projecting Brock Bowers could be on his way back for this game. The tight end still leads the team with 601 receiving yards and five touchdowns. While it is not as sure that he will play, he is close to returning. The Georgia passing offense ranks sixth in the country with 323.9 yards per game. Carson Beck has over 3,000 passing yards, and the Bulldogs are 5th with 41.2 points per game.

Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are not just winning games, they are blowing out opponents. The Bulldogs have ten wins, and just three of them have come by single digits. Georgia made quick and easy work of the Ole Miss Rebels last week, as they scored 52 points in the game.

This is the first of back to back road games for the Bulldogs. Georgia will head out to Georgia Tech next week, and then head to the SEC title game, against Alabama.

Volunteers Compete Hard on Saturday

This is going to be a fun game. Every team keeps trying to be the team to take Georgia down. Quite frankly, one loss for the Bulldogs would probably not keep them out of the College Football Playoff. The Bulldogs are going to the SEC title game again, but they have a ton of pride, and know they have something special going on.

The Bulldogs are going to give their best effort. In the end, the Volunteers are going to be pretty solid at home, but Georgia comes away with the win. The Bulldogs win this game by a touchdown. Take Tennessee +10 over Georgia.
