Which golfer has the best shot of winning the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am? Dustin Johnson, Patrick Cantlay, or Jason Day?

Johnson offers the lowest odds for a reason. He’s won at Pebble Beach before. Not only that, but he often plays well over the toughest course, Spyglass. With that being written, Johnson shot a -4 last year. That wasn’t close to the -19 that the winner shot. At +650, he’s a play against.

Cantlay didn’t play at Pebble Beach last year. He’s in great form, though. In January, Cantlay finished fourth at the Sentry Tournament of Champions. In October, he finished second at the Shriner’s Hospitals for Children’s Open. Patrick is worth a look at +1200.

Although Cantlay has a chance, the golfer to back among the favorites is Jason Day. Jason finished sixteenth at the Farmers Insurance Open. He shot a couple of rounds under 70 and might have challenged for the win if he had been more consistent. Last year, Day shot a -13 to finish tied fourth. +1800 are good odds. So, if you want to go chalky, back Jason Day.

Which golfers from +2000 to +2800 odds have the best chances of winning the Pebble Beach Pro-Am?

Mickelson won this tournament last year. We’d recommend you take a look at Lefty, but his form is off. He missed the cut at both The American Express and the Farmers Insurance Open.

Snedeker, Kuchar, and Fitzpatrick all have a shot, but the golfer to back in this odds category is Paul Casey. The English player shot a -16, 3 strokes off Mickelson, at the 2019 Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Casey’s form isn’t great. But it’s not horrible, either. He’s got a big shot to take the trophy home after Sunday’s round.

What are the two best golfers to consider backing at odds of +3300 to +6000?

At +5500, Max Homa offers overlay odds. He shot a nice -10 at last year’s Pro-Am. Although Homa finished 9 strokes off, he could improve at Pebble Beach this year. Also, Homa’s in great form. He finished ninth at the Farmers Insurance Open. He followed up that performance with a sixth-place finish at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Max can get it done at massive odds.

Spieth is in terrible form. He missed the cut at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Before that, he finished fifty-fifth at the Farmers Insurance Open. Back Berger over Jordan.

Day should offer lower odds than -120. He played great over the Pebble Beach courses last year. He should provide a similar performance. If he does, he beats Snedeker in this matchup.

Kuchar shot a -7 in 2019 while Hovland didn’t play in this tournament last year. Who gets the nod? Back Kuchar. Hovland has missed the cut in his last couple of tournaments played.
