Tony Finau (+1100)
This is not a golfer that you very often find as the favorite for any tournament, but there are some very solid reasons why he is the man the bookies like this week. Finau has had a very solid season, landing a couple of second place finishes, but it is his play at the US Open that makes him a firm favorite here. He finished 5th at the major, and he also has a history of playing well at this course, finishing 7th at this tournament in 2017. He has been knocking on the door all season long, landing in the top 10 on 7 different occasions. This may well be the weekend when he gets his first win of the year.Bubba Watson (+1600)
2018 has proven to be a career year for Bubba, as he has already notched 3 wins on the Tour, a personal best. He missed the cut at the US Open but bounced right back with a win at the Travelers Championship, which was the last event he played in. Watson is playing some of the best golf of his PGA Tour career right now, and he is a golfer that you will certainly need to keep an eye on this weekend. I think he is a definite top 5 possibility here.Phil Mickelson (+1600)
This will be the first time we will have seen Mickelson on the course since his moment of madness when he hit a rolling ball on the green. Mickelson was quite heavily lambasted for the move, apologizing profusely via social media for his lapse in judgment. While his best years are certainly behind him at this point, Mickelson is always a threat to win a tournament where the field is not quite as good as at others. He does have a win on Tour this season, as well as 6 top 10 finishes, so he certainly cannot be ruled out here.Webb Simpson (+1800)
Simpson notched his 5th career win at the Players Championship earlier this season, and he also has 6 top 10 finishes to his name in 2018. That’s the good news. The bad is that he his form has fallen off quite dramatically since that victory, and he has now missed the cut in 2 of his last 3 events. This might be a field that he could perform well against, but he appears to be battling himself right now. I would look elsewhere for a winner this weekend in West Virginia.Rest of the Bunch
