Always Dreaming, the winner of the Kentucky Derby, was scratched pretty early on, while we found out earlier this week that Classic Empire would also be out. 5. Hollywood Handsome (30-1)

This looks to be the horse that might be destined to run last here. He has a nice win in his last outing, but that was an allowance race that was a big step down in class from this one.

6. Lookin At Lee (5-1)

This is the only horse in the group who will run in all three jewels of the Triple Crown. A big closer that needs the race to set up for him. Will 3 races in such a short span do him in?

7. Irish War Cry (7-2)

Your morning line favorite, but one that comes with a bit of a warning. He faded badly in the closing stretch at the Derby, and you need to remember that this race is longer.

8. Senior Investment (12-1)

He could be one to watch if he can repeat his 3rd place performance at the Preakness. Another big closer that could be passing horses down the stretch.

9. Meantime (15-1)

Inexperience may be what does this horse in, but could still be a threat. Loves the Belmont track and has never been out of the money in his 4 starts. Keep an eye on this horse.

10. Multiplier (15-1)

His 6th place finish at the Preakness suggests he may be below this class, but that was the only race where he finished out of the money. Perhaps it was just an off day at the track.

11. Epicharis (4-1)

This Japanese horse has never finished worse than 2nd in his career, and has some big wins under his belt. Seems good with the distance, and needs to be considered a legitimate threat.

12. Patch (12-1)

A really good horse, but also one that has yet to win a stakes race. Winning here may be a big ask, but getting in the money is a distinct possibility.
