Why Bet On Houston?
The Astros were by far the best offensive team in baseball during the regular season but had to rally from a 3-2 series deficit in the ALCS against the Yankees, winning Games 6 & 7 at home. Houston is the first team to advance to the World Series as members of both the National and American leagues. They made the 2005 Fall Classic but were swept by the White Sox. The Astros switched leagues in 2013. Houston has completed 55 regular seasons without a championship since their inception in 1962, which ranks as the third-longest championship drought in the majors. The 2017 Astros feature four players remaining from the 2013 Astros, which finished 51-111: 2B Jose Altuve, IF Marwin Gonzalez, LHP Dallas Keuchel and RHP Brad Peacock. That group bottomed out in 2013 made the postseason in 2015 and won 101 games this season. Houston is led by MLB batting champion and likely AL MVP in Altuve. The World Series hasn’t featured an eventual MVP or Cy Young winner since 2012, when MVPs Buster Posey (San Francisco) and Miguel Cabrera (Detroit) collided. It’s 2015 AL Cy Young winner Dallas Keuchel on the mound Tuesday. He was 14-5 with a 2.90 ERA during the regular season, missing some time to do injury. He’s 2-1 with a 2.60 ERA in this postseason. He clinched Game 2 of the ALDS with 5 2/3 innings of one-run, seven-strikeout ball against the Red Sox and returned for his second postseason win with seven scoreless innings against the Yankees in Game 1 of the ALCS. Keuchel outmatched in Game 5 of the Championship Series, however, scattering four runs and eight strikeouts across 4 2/3 innings while the Yankees worked their way up to a 5-0 shutout. Also, he will be pitching on five days of rest. Keuchel was available in relief for Game 7 of the ALCS but wasn’t needed.Team Statistics

Why Bet On LA Dodgers?
The Dodgers’ pennant is the franchise’s first since 1988, which was also the last season L.A. won the World Series. The Dodgers clinched the National League pennant with an 11–1 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field last Thursday. Their 10-run margin of victory was the second largest by a visiting team in a postseason series-clinching win. The Dodgers led the majors with 104 wins – this season, Commissioner Rob Manfred changed the rule where the team from the winning league in the All-Star Game got home-field advantage in the World Series. Good thing for the Dodgers considering the AL won that game. At one point this year, the Dodgers were 91-36 and on pace to break the MLB record of 116 wins. But the Dodgers had an unusual 1-16 stretch that raised concerns. Any concerns were allayed when the club swept the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS and dethroned the Chicago Cubs in a five-game NLCS. Will the Dodgers have All-Star shortstop Corey Seager for this series? He missed the NLCS with a back injury suffered in the NLDS vs. Arizona. Manager Dave Roberts expects to have Seager on the roster. Seager, 23, won the NL Rookie of the Year award in 2016 and followed that with an All-Star campaign this season, in which he hit .295 with 22 homers and 77 RBIs. Roberts said it’s possible Seager could serve as the Dodgers’ designated hitter for road games during the World Series. It’s three-time NL Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw on the mound. The lefty might win a fourth award when it’s announced next month as he was 18-4 with an NL-best 2.31 ERA. e. It was the fifth time he led the NL in ERA, also doing so in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. Kershaw also topped the NL in wins (18) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (6.73), while ranking among the league’s best in WHIP (0.95, 2nd), opponents’ batting average (.212, 4th) and strikeouts (202, 8th). It was Kershaw’s seventh-career 200-strikeout season, the most in franchise history and the fourth most in National League history Kershaw tossed six innings of one-run ball in Thursday’s NLCS-clinching win over the Cubs, setting himself up to face off against the American League champions on a full four days of rest. Kershaw reached 2000 career strikeouts on June 2 at Milwaukee, becoming the second fastest pitcher in MLB history to reach the mark by games (262, behind Randy Johnson) and the third fastest by inning (1,836, behind Johnson and Pedro Martinez).Team Statistics
