Kluber, a six-year MLB veteran, had the fourth-best ERA in the AL this season and had some of his best performances of the year at Progressive Field, so he should come into this game fully motivated for a strong performance. Of course, Cleveland’s offense will also need to replicate Thursday’s performance–or even do better–given the Red Sox can be a very dangerous to beat when they get their bats cracking hot with hits and homers.
