Why Baltimore Orioles are a good bet on the moneyline?
David Hess threw well in his first start of the season. He tossed 6.1 innings and struck out 8 in a 6-5 victory over Toronto. Hess didn’t do so well in his last couple of starts, though.
He’s allowed a combined 7 earned runs off 11 hits in 10.2 innings. There’s a chance he could turn it around against Tampa. In his last couple of starts, he faced Boston and the New York Yankees. The Rays should provide some relief. If Hess can just maintain his composure through 6 innings, he could hand this over to Baltimore’s BP.

Why Tampa Bay Rays are a good bet on the moneyline?
Ryne Stanek gets the start for the Tampa Bay Rays. Stanek has thrown primarily in relief for most of this season. He’s already appeared in 7 Tampa Bay Rays’ games.
Stanek’s pitched well enough to get a start. His ERA is a very good 2.16 while his WHIP is .84. If Stanek doesn’t try to be a hero and instead is truthful about how he’s feeling, Tampa will make the right decision and pull him before things get out of control. That should put the Rays into a position to win on Wednesday night.

Orioles vs Rays Final MLB Betting Analysis
Although Ryan Stanek has come from the bullpen so far this season, he does appear to have what it takes to throw a solid 5 to 6 innings on Wednesday. David Hess’ form has fallen off some, making him the much tougher pitcher to back in this situation.
Even if Stanek gets into trouble, the Tampa Bay bullpen should bail him out while if Hess gets into trouble, the Orioles must rely on a BP that’s simply not as good as Tampa’s. Odds have yet to be assigned to this one. When they are, the Rays will be favored. It doesn’t make any sense to go against the chalk.
