The weekend is upon us, and that means another full slate of MLB betting action to look forward to. With so many games going on over the next three days, it can be tough to narrow down which games to wager on. I usually try to go with 2 or 3 games each day, with each one I pick being based on my level of confidence in that selection. MLB SU Picks for Friday, June 23
The Washington Nationals he cooled off a little, and have been playing .500 ball over the last 10 games. That is a good way off the pace they have been setting this season, but you still have to like their chances against a Cincinnati Reds team that is just 1-9 in their last 10. Furthermore, the Reds are just 11-23 on the road this season, so heading into Nationals Park is not a trip that they are likely looking forward to. It has taken some time, but the Cleveland Indians have finally hit their stride. They have opened up a 2.5 game lead on the Minnesota Twins at the top of the AL Central, and will have a chance to build on that when they welcome in the Twins this weekend. The Indians are 8-2 in their last 10 games, and I like them to keep rolling on Friday night. Don’t look no, but the Tampa Bay Rays are suddenly in the mix atop the NL East. They are within 2.5 games of the lead, and have a weekend series against the struggling Baltimore Orioles on tap. I like the Rays to come away with the win in the Friday night tilt.
