World Series Game 4 Odds & Betting Pick: Dodgers vs. Astros
The bullpen provided a chance. The late Game 3 hits never came. But history’s shown a 2-1 deficit can be overcome. https://t.co/Jx1IkZjv03

Why consider the Dodgers World Series Game 4 Odds?
The Dodgers will almost certainly be kicking themselves after missing a golden opportunity to head to Houston with a 2-0 series lead, even more after their Game 3 loss. Prior to this series, the general consensus was that the Dodgers would need to keep the Houston bats at bay if they wanted to be champions. While the Dodgers are no slouches on offense, they certainly cannot keep pace with the firepower in the Astros batting order, which became evident in Game 2 and 3. Whenever the Dodgers get pulled into a slugfest with the Astros, you get the feeling it is a style of game that they are just not equipped to win. I always felt that this series was going to be a long one, and it can certainly end up being that if the Dodgers can pick up at least one win on the road. They were 47-34 away from home in the regular season, so no reason why they shouldn’t be able to get one more. Game 4 will see Alex Wood take the mound. He was the starter, and took the loss, in the only defeat the Dodgers have this postseason.Team Statistics

Why consider the Astros World Series Game 4 Odds?
You always felt that the Houston Astros would have at least one game in this series where the bats got hot and they ran up some runs, although most of us probably believed it would come in Game 3 or 4, once we started getting deeper into the pitching rotation. I think that there is a distinct possibility that Correa, Altuve, and the rest may have another big night against Alex Wood in this game, but the Astros are starting Charlie Morton in this one, and his postseason numbers are not exactly sparkling. Morton is 1-1 with a 6.23 ERA in his 3 appearances. That said, he was very good in his last start against the New York Yankees, where he pitched 5 innings, surrendering just 2 hits and 0 ER. The Astros had more wins on the road than at home this season but were still a healthy 48-33. They are 6-0 at home during the playoffs.Team Statistics

- Walks: 3.16
- Strike Outs: 6.75
