Inter Miami was all over the news this week, and they have an exciting future with Lionel Messi on his way to the club. However, the Argentine legend isn’t in South Beach yet, and this version of the Inter Miami team is scrambling. They just fired their coach, have lost five straight league matches, and barely beat lower-division Birmingham in the U.S. Open Cup on Wednesday.
This weekend they head to fourth-place New England, looking for just their second road win of 2023. New England is 4-0-3 at home this season and have never lost at home to Miami. However, they did fall in Miami 2-1 on May 13 after scoring an own goal.
Carles Gil is on fire for the Revolution, with five goals scored and five assists. He set up six scoring chances on Saturday against NYCFC and can have a big impact against a Miami team that struggles on defense and in the midfield.
At MyBookie, New England is a -164 favorite, with Inter Miami at +480 and a draw at +340. The over 2.5 goals is -156, and under 2.5 goals is +122. Inter Miami has been shut out in five of their six road games this season.

The San Jose Earthquakes put their home unbeaten streak on the line Saturday with an intriguing cross-conference matchup with Philadelphia Union. The Earthquakes are 5-0-2 at home this season and sit in fifth place in the West with 23 points from 16 games. Meanwhile, the Union are in third place in the East with 30 points from 16 games, and they are 3-3-1 on the road this season.
Philadelphia is unbeaten in their last seven games against San Jose, with four wins and three draws over the last nine seasons. Overall they haven’t lost in their last nine games, with seven wins in that span, and the Union have pushed their goal differential to +12. Julian Carranza scored twice last week and has nine goals on the season, while Daniel Gazdag has eight assists.
San Jose has two straight shutouts for the first time since October 2020, and they haven’t pulled off three straight shutouts in eight years. Daniel, the Brazilian goalkeeper, made five saves against Colorado Rapids, including a penalty kick save to preserve the clean sheet.
At MyBookie, San Jose is favored at +145 with the Union at +188. A draw is +242. Under 2.5 goals is +102, with over 2.5 goals at -130.
