The Featherweights are up first on the main card, with Aidan Stephen looking to snap out of a poor run of form, where he has lost 2 of his last 3 fights. He most recently lost to Paul Hughes, a third-round submission, falling to 7-3 in the process. He will be up against Turkish fighter Emrah Sonmez, who is 11-2 and on a 3-fight win streak. Sonmez tends to finish fights early, but I think this one goes the distance, with Sonmez getting the win.
Steve McIntosh Vs Mehdi Ben Lakhhdar
The Light Heavyweights are up next, featuring a pair of fighters on a solid run of form. McIntosh has won 3 in a row ahead of this one, taking his career mark to 6-1 in the process. He has yet to see any of his bouts go the distance. Lakhdhar is unbeaten in the 5 fights in his pro career, but his perfect record took a hit in his last fight, which ended in a draw. His two fights prior to that ended in opening round wins, and I think he gets the KO win here.
Weslley Maia Vs Michele Martignoni
This Bantamweight bout looks like one that is not destined to go the distance. Maia is 6-3, but he has been on a better run of form of late, winning each of his last fights, with none of them going the distance. Martignoni is a perfect 5-0 to start his career, although he does have a No Contest in there as well. Included in his record is a win at Bellator 203, where he finished Simone D’Anna in the opening round. He has not fought since 2018, but I still think he gets the KO win in this one.
Sam Creasey Vs Adam Amarsinghe
This Flyweight bout is listed as the co-main event on this card. Creasey is 12-3 in his career, but he has been up a down of late. He lost to Samir Faiddine a couple of fights back, but he was able to bounce back with a win last time out. After a run that saw him lose 2 of 3, Amarsinghe has returned to form with back to back wins. This looks like an evenly matched bout, which I see going the distance. I’m giving the nod to Creasey here.
Luke Shanks Vs Jake Hadley
The final fight of the night is another Flyweight bout that promises some fireworks. Shanks comes into this fight with a 7-1 record and is on a great run of form, winning 4 fights in a row, with 3 of those bouts going the distance. Hadley has proven to be tough to beat as a pro, winning all 6 of his fights to this point. 4 of his 6 wins have come in the opening round, and while I expect this one to last longer, I still think Hadley gets the KO win.
