Cage Warriors 122: Charriere Vs Vucenic Expert Analysis

Written by on March 18, 2021

If you are looking for some action early in the day on Saturday, be sure to tune into UFC Fight Pass at noon to take in Cage Warriors 122. It’s a busy few days for CW, as they have a bunch of events going on this weekend. We have already covered two of those in an earlier article, so now let’s jump to Saturday and take a look at CW 122. We are looking at a 5-fight main cards that features top MMA fighters from across Europe. We are also looking at a title fight as the headliner of this card, so let’s get right into what looks to be a fun main card as we make some predictions for you to bet on and cash in against their Cage Warriors odds.

Cage Warriors 122: Charriere Vs Vucenic | MMA Betting

Corrin Eaton Vs Jean N’Doye

This is a Featherweight bout that looks to be a bit of a coin flip in terms of making a prediction. If you disregard the No Contest that Eaton was involved in a couple of fights ago, he is on a run that has seen him win 4 of his last 5, taking his career mark to 10-3 in the process. N’Doye is 8-2, but he will be looking to bounce back from a decision loss in Bellator in his last fight. This has all the makings of a close one, but I think N’Doye edges it via decision.

Tobias Harila Vs Aidan Stephen

This Featherweight bout features a pair of fighters who are heading in very different directions at the moment. Harila is making a mark on the division by going 8-1 and winning each of his last 6 fights, with 5 of those coming inside the distance. On the flipside, Stephen is on a bit of a rollercoaster ride, as the Scotsman is just 2-2 in his last 4 fights. Harila has all the momentum right now and should get the win here, although he may need to go all 3 rounds to get it.

Brian Bouland Vs Liam Gittins

It’s a Bantamweight bout that is next up on the card, with Bouland fighting out of Belgium and looking to get back on a track after a bit of a wobbly run that has seen him go 2-2 over his last 4 fights. His last 3 fights have all gone the distance. After winning his first 5 pro fights, Gittins took the first loss of his pro career although he did bounce back with a win last time out. Let’s take this one to go the distance, with Gittins getting the win.

Paddy Pimblett Vs Davide Martinez

We have a Lightweight bout up as the penultimate fight of the night in what promises to be a beauty. Pimblett has a very respectable 15-3 career mark, but 2 of his 3 losses have come in his last 4 fights, so he will be looking to steady the ship a little here. Martinez is on a 6-fight win streak, competing in various different organizations, but this feels like a step up. He will be tough to handle, but I think it will be Pimblett who gets the win.

Morgan Charriere Vs Jordan Vucenic

The final fight of the night is for the Featherweight title. This will be the first defense for Charriere, who won it back in December with a third round win over Perry Andre Goodwin. That win made it 3 in a row for Charriere, who has a 16-7-1 career mark. Vucenic is in as the challenger on Saturday afternoon, bringing with him a 7-1 career mark and a 5-fight winning streak. This could go either way, but I am on the champ to edge it.
